Ha…because I had put a fraud alert on my credit, Citizens One will need to call me in the next 24 hours to confirm my loan requests. If it’s not one thing it’s another.

Apple said I can still come back Friday to order, but the orders will be on hold until loan is confirmed.

Nope.

What a terrible process this IUP upgrade has been. First time using it and likely the last. Will be going back to Tmo yearly Jump upgrade.

Employee here with Magenta Max that was having that issue earlier. Just tried it now and it worked, it did give me an error saying it couldn’t contact carrier but it still let me through and said I could contact the carrier later to activate it.

Must have heard me talking crap….it finally went through.
12 Pro Max to 13 Mini.

Been stuck on this screen since its went live yesterday.
I was stuck at the confirm carrier since yesterday. Then got stuck where you are about 1.5hrs ago. I just kept trying and I got this error probably 100 times. Then I looked over and it was asking for my face to complete that step.
Just keep hammering it.

I'm just saying that T-Mobile may have been unable to interface with Apple's pre-order system since its not yet live.
Maybe partly but it worked for me right away when I posted earlier when they switched my account type.

Finally was able to get past the locked screen despite being on a T-Mobile One plan and having not made my 12th payment till the 22nd. It’s a glitch you guys don’t believe anything anyone from T-Mobile or Apple says. They are just making stuff up rather than say they don’t know.

FUD from customer reps is nothing new. Neither are canned responses that bear no resemblance to what's truly going on.

I remember back in the days when I was on Sprint. There were ALWAYS issues cropping up, even when Sprint promised their Network Vision plan would "touch every tower" and alleviate network congestion. I'd call and ask why my data connection failed and got a different BS story with each call. They blamed BlackBerry, made up stories about BIS service in Waterloo, etc. Everything but the truth, which was that they had no idea what happened and that it was almost certainly Sprint's fault.

I’ve been trying since yesterday. Im already enrolled on IUP since iphone 11 and didn’t had problem last year. Im on magenta max plan.

If this turns out to be a T-Mobile screwup because they did not enable the upgrade for a large number of different account types, would this mean that all those that got their account type changed actually didn't need to? and if so, would they be able to switch back to their original account type?

This is such an odd mess. My preapproval is done and confirmed by email. But- if I go through the app, it says my pre approval is expired. Yet through the web, it’s fine. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Alright guys it worked! I had the error I posted above after checking carrier. I did it on my MBP instead and it worked perfectly. (T-Mobile employee account).
