If people include itunes and mail as apps then why not include preview. You can not convince me that preview is not one of your most used apps. Same goes for finder.

Mentioning safari/chromium seems trivial too.

1. Web Browser (Safari mainly)
2. Spotify/iTunes/Pandora
3. Dreamweaver CS5
4. Photoshop CS5 (big fan of sephia)
5. GeekTool
6. Parallels (not a fan)
7. Dropbox
8. Microsoft Office (Word + Excel mainly for classes)
9. Skype
10. iCal/iPhoto/Mail/etc. (simply because they open themselves..)

It's not really in order of use, but I just scrolled through my apps until I found those 10+ that I use the most.

Not exactly apps, but most used stuff! :p

1. Google Chrome
2. Ableton Live
3. CCleaner

I've never downloaded any other web browsers. When I opened my new Macbook Pro a month ago, I just used Safari and still using it. I love it because of all the multi-gestures on the trackpad. :) My sister who has the Macbook Air (Mid 2011) she uses google chrome. I am still a new mac user, still don't know much apps out there. I'm open to new things if anyone can introduce me new apps or messengers, music, designing, word processing etc. Please tell me. :)

In no particular order, the apps that I've been using and enjoying the most recently.

I think Mint.com is one of the best ways to manage money and its free and isn't machine dependent.
