With its unique ability to discharge on its own...I would not say that 4 charges is routine. If you use up your phone in a day, perhaps you'll get that many.

If you charge over a longer period I would ...4 charges...maybe.
 
Well, keeping in consideration, they did tell me the unit will discharge 1% per day when not in use, so if you let it sit for days and days, yes, you won't get the guaranteed amount of charges.
 
Anyone else got updates from Zagg about their defective units?

They have offered to replace my friend's (still functioning) set even though he did not raise a complaint about it. Too bad they didnt any details on how to do that just yet. Will they pay for international shipping just to replace spoiled units?
 
Try emailing ZAGG for the answer.

But for me I think I will not purchase anymore ZAGG products due to this Zaggsparq issue. I have to wait until March sometime, to get the product I paid for way back in December and this does not make me very happy.
 
finally after N tries to reboot the damn thing, it finally works again. But now I feel like I am playing russian roulette everytime I use it.
 
Same as everyone else. Even if I sent it back now, my replacement would not arrive till probably April. I am using it while waiting for their pre paid labels to reach me.
 
Okay ZAGG it's now the middle of March...where are my two replacement Zaggsparq's, that bought from you back in December?
 
have you called them to check? My friend and I are waiting for the official announcement before sending it back.
 
Why call when what they tell me would most likely be a lie. First they told me February, then March. I am thinking now it might be April sometime. I am about ready to get my money back and buy a product that is already market proven. But as I said before, ZAGG will never get my money again.
 
So today I received two FedEx shipping envelopes from ZAGG, for me to ship my two defective Zaggsparq's back to them. The only problem is that I shipped them back over a month ago and they had already received them, so I am not sure what is going on. The paper included also stated the Zaggsparq 2.0 will start shipping late March, which is almost here.

I sure hope Zagg didn't lose the records of my returned Zaggsparq's. This company sure makes it easy not to like them!

Now late April....are you freaking kidding me!!!! So an entire season has to pass before I get what I paid for back in December of 2009? This is so unacceptable.

The paper that came with my shipping envelope still says that they will be shipping replacements in late March. In reality, I just received the envelope yesterday and FedEx ground delivery won't get there for at least a few days. I wonder if they are quoting late April (or "beginning of late April"?) for new inquiries?

I don't think I'm nearly as frustrated as "Resist" but I'd like to get my replacement. There is a reason I wanted this unit and every business trip I take without it just makes this process a little more painful.
 
Well I just received an email from ZAGG stating the Zaggsparq 2.0 will be released sometime late April.

They also said they had received the two defective units I sent them but that they had also shipped me a replacement unit a while ago. I told them many times already that the replacement unit was also defective and I shipped that one back to them. And according to my UPS shipping info they received it over a month ago. So I am not sure why their records show I still have a Zaggsparq in my possession. This is so frustrating!

Anyone considering buying anything from ZAGG....stay away, stay far away!
 
Whew that is some frustration there. My friend and I moved on to using Sanyo and they are a lot cheaper(by 50%). 5000mah, smaller size and with nearly the same functions (no power gauge). Now we can wait for the replacement in peace.
 
ZAGG now said they have received all the Zaggsparq's I sent them.

This place is such a disorganized company. I think if I ever get my replacements, I will just sell them and buy something else. I have no desire to deal with a company like ZAGG any longer.
 
Considering all the issues with using certain USB ports to charge the iPad, I have to wonder if the new Zaggsparq 2 will be able to charge it.
