Dear all... I was extremely busy and have no chance to visit this board for last few months..

I am surprise to see so many people like this cover... I am surprise to see so many people like this case. I am still using this case ... and I have no problem.. however, I got 3 new smart covers in the last few months because I just cannot get rib of the stain ...

You should never eats ribs near your iPad. :D

Clips have broken on my case as well. Received the case in January. I sent an email to info@letszum.com on Feb. 8th requesting a replacement and have not heard back from them. Does anyone have additional contact info? How long did it take for someone to return an email?

Thats the only email I have used and my typical response time has been 1-2 business days on all of my emails with them. Give them a couple days and then follow up if need be.

I received an email back in a day or two, they will answer.
Mine has got worse and the whole corner has come off, bare in mine I look after mine and deep it in a padded case as well.

Will see how the second one is.

Just wanted to let you guys know that ZUM did respond to my email. I had to send confirmation of my Amazon purchase. Now waiting to hear when and if they will send me a replacement.

I've had the Incipio case on for a few weeks and it works well. Same design as the zum.
Just offering another choice.

I like the color choices of the Incipio but do not like their design, they leave the whole bottom edge of the iPad unprotected. That and it's $12 more than the Zum.

Just wanted to chime in also, I'm on my 2nd replacement and the clip broke on this one also.

However my first one faired worse in 1 month with stress cracks all over the edges.

The 2nd one I took extreme care on how/where I placed it, and over the weekend I was looking at the case and realized the piece has broken off again. I had this 2nd one for probably 2-3 weeks.

I have given up on back companion hard cases.

Save your money and just buy a leather case with integrated front cover with magnets. Yoobao is very nice and good value-for-money.

I've heard nothing since I requested a replacement. May just return it through Amazon and cut my losses.

My mom's one has a crack in it now!

Same here.

Joey at ZUM was fairly responsive to my emails until he requested a copy of my Amazon invoice and shipping information.
I sent the information on the 12th of February and have not heard anything from him since!

Think i'm just going to leave it on until it fails completely.

Same on my end. I haven't heard back since sending my receipt so I emailed him again last sun asking how long can I expect it to arrive. He replied the next day - Mon, saying he will check on shipping status and get back to me next day. Now it is saturday. Not very nice. My 'fake' smart cover actually lasted longer than the real zum case. I do not know what to make of it.

I hope we hear some info soon as to updates for the new iPad... I will hate to have the new one unprotected!

Joey from Zum just emailed me - the version for the new iPad will be out in late March.

I have had terrible stress cracking on all corners of the Zum.....I do hope they use a material with greater strength/tensile rigidity on the "3" version - I would hold off buying a Zum until someone compares it against their 2 version....

I finally received my replacement cover today after shooting off a rather annoyed mail few weeks ago. The replacement does not have the zum branding at all and at first look, looks like a piece of cheap cover. Do those who received their replacement got the zum branding or not?

I never had a problem with mine, either. Removed it from old iPad to move the SmartCover to new iPad. No cracks whatsoever and the back of the iPad remained pristine. :)

I've never had a problem, my 4-5 moth old Zum is still good as new on my iPad 2. I rarely remove it though.
