Me too!

Ordered!

Ordering my new MBP with the 2.6ghz option in a couple days. With 4 gigs of RAM, this thing should be a "screamer"!

The ones that come from frys are the ones pictured on the newegg site, except that it says JetRam on there. Does anyone know if these are the micron chips?

2x1 or 1x2?

Can anyone confirm for certain...

is this 2 x 1g sticks or 1 x 2g stick?

Contradictory answers have been posted in this thread. Does anyone know for sure?

Ah, Memories

Wow, RAM has become so incredibly cheap... A year ago, I would've paid 400+€ for 2GB.

Yeah cheap is right!!! I bought 16MB of RAM for my Performa 575 back in 1994... Yeah, you read that right... 16MB... $600 US... those were the days !!!

new macbook

Hi.

THe new :apple:macbooks can now have 4GB of ram. ON the apple website it still says you can only install a maximum of 2 though (1GB + 1GB)

Question: Im buying a macbook within a few days so am obviously looking at 3rd part ram,

I am thinking of buying from Komplett's irish website, they have the crucial memory advisor on their site but it doesnt have the newer macbooks.
Am I right in thinking these sticks work with the santa rosa macbooks?

[Thats what came up for me for macbook pro, 2.4ghz, 15.4 inch screen]
