Yep I also came from an 8 Plus. It’s not too much different other than more screen real estate and less bezel.

Agreed. I was using the 11PM caseless and I can’t see myself doing that with the 12PM.
Bah, come on... that stainless steel frame won’t bend, and the screen is basically shatter proof! What’re you afraid of? 😈

I’m honestly in love with my 12 PM! Coming from the 11 PM, I was a little scared as well thinking it might be too big but now that I have the 12 in my hand, I don’t think I can go back lol. When using it, the screen seems big (which I love) but the weight feels the same to me. I use a popsocket and nuckees so that helps a little when using bigger screens one handed.
I was a little worried about the camera bump. One of the cases that I bought didn’t have a raised bumper around the camera so I used a camera lens protector (?) that came with the glass screen protector. So far so good!

Coming from an 11 pro max, I don’t think it feels that much bigger.
I’ve been using a 12 Pro for the past couple weeks, and now have the 12 Pro Max.
Honestly, I’m torn. I kinda grew to love the smaller guy. I’ve had every version of the big iPhone since the 6 Plus, so I’m used to them, but the 12PM feels chunkier and I’m not sure if I’m into it yet.
Will have to spend some time with it to see which version I want to stick with.

After spending about half a day with the 12 Pro Max I gotta say I’m on the fence coming from a X. I’ll have to try it for a few more days to get used to it and form a solid opinion. I like everything about the phone except the weight. Feels so much heavier. Will consider a 12 Pro but we’ll see how it goes.
I like the feel of the flat edges better. Coming from the 11PM and the size increase is negligible to me. The flat sides make it easier to grip IMO.
I was unsure how I would feel after enjoying the 12 Pro. Now with the max with the leather case I couldn’t be happier!! It’s perfect! I had the note ultra 20 and for whatever reason this feels more comfortable in the hand. I love it!!! Forget the cameras the phone and screen are beautiful!! Fits just right in my jeans so I’m as happy as they come! Pls keep in mine I’m 6’3 so that plays a role and I’m used to all the plus/XL phones. I love the pro so if that’s your thing stay with it!! Don’t worry about the camera!!
Love the squared off edges, feels solid in hand. My 11pmax felt like a bar of soap.
I also have a leather case coming Monday. Would you say that it adds quite a bit of bulk to the phone or not at all? Currently using a Spigen Thin Fit and it is a bit thicker than I was expecting.
Gold 12 Pro Max 256GB with a Blue leather case. I like it! Gold and blue look sophisticated.

Oh wow, didn't know, hoping the 2021 PM has the same design and 1TB, so it'll be compatible with 12PM Screen Protectors and Cases, so I can buy them before it arrives to me next year. Thanks, appreciate the info.
I came from a 7, and I’m loving the Pro Max! I’ve been playing with it for 9 hours now, and I like the size. So glad I got it. This Pacific Blue is gorgeous!
It’s really not that much bigger. What makes it feel huge are squared sides. The rounded sides on the 11 PM make it feel more comfortable as it were. IMHO
Coming from all the plus sizes, the XS Max, and the 11 Pro Max, I love the size increase. I also own an iPad mini but these devices don’t overlap in use cases at all.
This 12 max needs an captain America shield case. Cause this thing can be used as a shield! I love it though.
I felt that way when I first got the 12P, coming from bigger phones. I thought maybe this is big enough. But as the 14 days approached, I noticed I kept thinking I miss the bigger. So I returned the Pro. I hope you figure out what works best for you and leave the torn behind.
