I don’t think so, nothing that’s compelling enough. I would consider the base 17 now that it finally has ProMotion. It would suck to lose the telephoto but it would only be $400 CAD and I’d like to downsize.
Decided I’ll hold off, I’m enjoying the feeling of paying off debt more than having a new iPhone, iOS26 is helping my 15 Pro Max to feel new.

I've just seen that I could sell my 15 Pro (256) for UK £510.

The 17 Pro is 1,099, 256 is now standard, and the base 17 is £799

=> upgrade cost for the 17 Pro is £589
& £289 for the base 17

Both with new batteries.

Tempted despite not being unhappy with my 15 Pro ;)

I confess that I have upgraded to the 17 Pro. I have the readies and this upgrade delivers in terns of cost-benefit. I've liked how the 15 Pro enabled me to enjoy photography even more and as I reckon I will be exploring the extra in the 17 Pro. I've therefore upped the storage on that to 512 and that will also encourage me to download more music via the upgrade to the Air Pods Pro 3.

Excited for what is expected to arrive this coming Apple Friday.

I'm just going to walk in the store this weekend and if they have one, I'll buy.

I caved and got a new phone. To be fair though, I’m not financing it and I got a $400 bonus from work on a prepaid card (so I can’t use it for bills) which is the difference between my trade-in and the cost of the new phone so I essentially got it for free 😃. I just paid taxes.

I am just going to hold off and get the battery replacement for $99. Not liking the two tone look of the back of the 17 Pros. I will probably wait two more cycles for the 19 or whatever it is called by then. I don’t plan to be an early adopter of the Fold.

15 Pro here at 92% battery health and I’ve had a 17 Air in and out of my bag on the Apple Store app. I’m really tempted to get a thinner, lighter, and more minimalist phone. I don’t know if I want to get that or wait for the 17E or whatever and completely downgrade.

My 15PM battery is still at 100% and the phone exterior is flawless so I don't feel any pressure to upgrade. If I did I'd have to wait until I could hold the Air in my hands as that would be the one I'd get.

i am upgrading to either 17 pro or Air. the new pro max is just way too heavy and bulky for my liking. the more i look at the specs the more i appreciate the 15 pro max. it is a pro max but it doesn't feel that way in your hand. dimension is a tad smaller than 16PM and 17PM, a lot lighter compare to 17PM.

Still on the fence here, but at least I know that if I do upgrade my 15 ProMax, it's to the Air for the light aspect. I do plan on heading out to see one in person.

I know its pennies, but just to say that I locked in at £510 for resale of my 15Pro (256) when the 17Pro was launched. That resale offer price now down to £495 ;)

Given I paid £700 for that pre-loved 15Pro, I'm chuffed.

not a chance in hell 😂 I love my white titanium. Once Apple starts shrinking the Dynamic island then we can talk

That white looks great!

I’ve got the blue 15PM. I’m not overly fond of the blue, and it overheats frequently. I now have to charge it during the middle of the day. Still, I was going to skip this upgrade cycle until I checked the carrier offerings. All things considered, an upgrade won’t be that much more than a battery replacement, so I caved—and now have to wait until October.

Enjoy your new phone!!! I love reading the reviews and living through you guys!!

Decided on "downgrading" to the base 17 in white. It'll be delivered tomorrow by courier from the Apple Store near here. I was pretty close to getting the Air but decided on the lower cost and the better battery life.

I had the 15 pro max , sold my old one to apple for £480 so got the new 17pm . Honestly I love the orange colour but really hate the new phone design.

I keep it in a case anyway so it’s not going to bother me. I can definitely notice a speed difference , the screen to me also seems more vibrant but maybe that’s just me. Speakers are a lot louder. Doesn’t really feel any heavier probably better balanced. Two reasons why I wanted to upgrade were the better camera and the cooler running. My 15 got way too hot. Time will tell if this runs much cooler , but happy I upgraded and paying less a month on this because of my trade in so happy days

Im on 15pm 512GB and will be picking up a 17PM 512GB.
No pre-order. No rush. When they are readily available in stores I'll pick one up.
I would have skipped this year as Im happy with my 15, but my wife's iPhone 12 is showing its age, and she's not as bother with tech as I am, so my 15pm will go to her, and her 12 will go to my daughter.
Everyone's a winner!
