It was a good game but in the end the 'Hawks D stepped up and Washington's O couldn't do what needed to be done.

I know Washington needs a solid No. 2 WR to compliment Moss, but I think the game plan was too conservative especially in the 2nd half. There was that 76 yard drive, but after that the 'Skins went back to runnin' and dinkin'. I know runnin' and dinkin' is 'Skins football, but if they are gonna give you the deeper stuff take the deeper stuff. And then run 'n dink when they back up to stop the deep stuff. There are times you stick to your plan and there are times you toss your plan out the window. This was a time for the latter, IMO.

Pats vs. Broncos: (Half Time rant)
Pass interference call against NE was a BAD call.
Here's hoping Plummer gets picked twice the second half and NE decide to take care of the ball.

Agreed, I think that was a bad call as well. Should be a good second half, just sitting down to watch it now....

Appalling call... looks like all the Pats luck has deserted them

Between that pass interference that went the other way and this interception return that should have been a touchback rather than down at the one. Nice hit at the end though by Watson.

I really don't like the Broncos. I think they're a no-class organisation who don't care about the character of their players and play dirty football.

Yeah, amazing hit there at the end, I was loving that one (and I'm not even a Pats fan!) - I love how the Bronco was slowing down and the Pat never gave up and just leveled him. I thought it should be a touchback as well, but it was pretty close. Let's see how the Pats handle things for the rest of the game and if they can turn their luck around...

It's 4am here. I'm going to head to bed and hope that I miss the greatest playoff comeback of all time :p

You know, I don't think I'd mind if two of their TDs hadn't come from the 1 yard line after dodgy calls. At least when the Pats were being 'jammy gits' they were good plays.

Not denying the excellent play of the Broncos D in forcing a couple of the turnovers but their offense hasn't done much.

Looks like I'm rooting for the NFC this year in the Superbowl...

We'll, it's as good as over now, Brady just got intercepted. I admit that the Pats had some bad calls against them, but ultimately I don't think a team that commits that many turnovers and mistakes deserves to win the ballgame.

Looking forward to watching the Broncos and the Colts next week! ;)

Don't get too far ahead of yourself there... the Colts still haven't proven ANYTHING in the playoffs yet. ;)

I know, hence why I included the emoticons at the end of my post. ;)

I'm quite looking forward to the Bears Panthers game as well - should be a good one!

Bears and panthers...thats going to be a beautiful game. wish i had tickets

Bless
Some friends of mine are in Chicago now, going to the game tomorrow... I could have gone with them, but it would have cost something like $1300 for me to go. Really not worth it...

Sadly, I just read where another Panthers fan got scammed on eBay by a guy who claimed he just moved to Nigeria (RED FLAG #1!) and who asked for payment via Western Union (RED FLAG #2!). He wired the "seller" $500 and then wondered why he hadn't received his tickets yet... a bunch of us had to break the news to him that he just got screwed with his pants on. :(

Seahawks vs. Bears is my Super Bowl prediction. I still can't see Indy surviving the playoffs, and if they do Seattle would slaughter them.

ED its going to take quite the miracle and act of higher office for that to happen ... Seattle would have to switch back to the AFC ... both games should be real good tomorrow

Ed, Ed, Ed... Seahawks vs. Bears in the Super Bowl is IMPOSSIBLE, since they are both NFC teams. It's NFC vs. AFC in the Super Bowl. :)

EDIT: Annnnnnd now I see that Kwyjibo has addressed this point. ;) I'm drunk, OK? :p

That was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. I can't believe Bill didn't challenge it. The fumbles can't be excused, and you DON'T DROP PUNTS!
Also, Ben Watson is my new sports hero. Ah well, go Seahawks.
