That would be so funny!!! Just imagine Fergie's face if it does happen
I think it'd be much like my face now. I respect Fergie though, hes not worth £30million+ and I'm glad Fergie isn't paying that.

Mark Hughes has told Sky Sports News that Spurs have accepted Manchester City's shock bid for Dimitar Berbatov.
...
City's offer for Berbatov is reported to be in excess of £30million and would set a new British transfer record.

Bent (proven rubbish in the premiership).
BBC Sport Website said:1710: Ridiculous. Manchester City's prospective new owner Dr Sulaiman Al-Fahim has revealed he has made bids for Valencia's David Villa and Stuttgart striker Mario Gomez. Can someone remind City they are not Real Madrid? Meanwhile, Madrid have not given up on Villa and appear to have entered the race for Berbatov. Best deadline day ever?
Now Real Madrid have made this mad rush even madder (according to the rumors) by tabling a 36.5 million-pound offer for Berba...though just before this came out it was being reported that Spurs had accepted Man City's bid. Someone on the BBC live text pointed out that Berbatov is best buddies with Petrov and Bojinov at Man City, so that move is beginning to make a slight bit of sense.
I ask you, is he really THAT good?
...
yes and no. lately no.
Meanwhile, my favourite rubbish transfer rumour of the day was the alleged sighting of Hamilton Ricard loitering around the KC. The fact that the former Middlesbrough forward is currently serving a three year prison sentence in a Columbian jail may point to it being a case of mistaken identity, though.![]()
Newcastle issued a statement which said: "Mike was offered a drink which he thought was non-alcoholic so he took it in good faith."
Arsenal confirmed they do not sell non-alcoholic beer in the stadium.
Apparently we've just signed Daniel Cousin from Rangers on a three year deal. I don't know if Fuzzy14 or davidjearly are going to be around this evening, but if either of our resident marauding Scots stick their heads in here could they reassure me we've not just bought a lemon?
His lass looks pleasant enough, mind. We've got a H&M here and a big Next, so Hull's perfect WAG territory.
There's quite a nice Italian place on Princes Avenue, they'll have to settle for that.Take care of him. If Hull are now Premiership maybe they should open an Italian Center for the WAGs?
So, who would you say is number one? Please not Boyd... I'm sick of the Boyd lovers.I like Cousin, I think he's our 2nd best striker (out of 6!)
Hmm... we've had a few of those in the past too.He is immensely capable and the best striker in Scotland on his good days. On his bad days, he can't be bothered at all.
Doesn't his lass have family in Belgium? They're obviously moving here to take advantage of the ferry link to Zeebrugge, besides the obvious attraction of playing for the Tigers. Yes, that's probably it.Don't understand why he left for Hull (no offence) when he was looking for top flight football apparently. It obviously could not have been European football.
I think the answer to any Joey Barton related question is nay, unless the question happens to be 'Is he a nasty little thug?'Joey Barton- yea or nay?
