The difference though, is that everyone knew that Nebraska's offense was crap. Alabama's going to destroy Texas in the championship game.
I am kind of hoping TCU jumps Texas for the number 2 spot. This is another game that showing that Texas is not up to is normal standards and struggles yet again to another much weaker team. Hell it makes 2 games in a row that shows something is really wrong.

Also, that last play by Colt McCoy was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on a football field. If he wins the Heisman they should stop giving it out. Pathetic.

how many games this year has Texas struggled in. So far I know of Texas Tech, Texas A&M, OU and now nebraska. Off of which should of been blow outs. A&M and Nebraska UT almost lost and showed that they clearly are not a rank 2 or 3 team and TCU really should be above them.
You could make the argument that (1) Nebraska's kicker putting the last kickoff out of bounds and (2) Nebraska's defender with the horse-collar tackle lost it as well.
they also struggled early on against Wyoming and Colorado in the first halves at least

It is not right to blame it on 1 or 2 plays on why they lost. now blaming Nebraska offense or more so LACK of an Offense is a better reason. The fact of the matter is Nebraska never scored a touch down. if they had scored 1 touch down they would of won the game. They had a lot of chances to pull that off and had to settle for a field go. (4 chances to be exact plus 3 turnovers they received)
If Nebraska had 1/4 of an offense that game wouldn't have been close. I'd like to see TCU vs. Alabama.
If NU had 1/4 of an offense, they'd be playing Alabama for the title. But they don't. I've said it before - I wouldn't have a problem watching TCU or Cincy get the nod above us for the title game. They're undefeated too.
But I'm also not going to sit here and feel sorry for Texas. We've had a good season, and they should be proud of themselves, regardless of the outcome on December 7th.

I'd like to see that, too, but I'd settle for TCU-Florida in the Sugar. I think the bowl people will probably marginalize both TCU and Boise, though, by putting them in a game against one another (Fiesta).

A couple of phantom pass interference calls didn't help NU either.
Also, how bad was Texas' clock management in the last minute - they nearly blew it.

I would love if Alabama lost to 2 MWC teams in consecutive years
I was really hoping for Nebraska to win tonight i wanted a lil hetic bcs stuff just so they have more reason to get rid of this POS system out but anyway so it looks like Alabama and texas for bcs thats going to be a boring BCS game I thought a Florda/Texas game would be much beter that why i hate this system and i can never fully enjoy college football till they have a real Playoff system.

Well, 'Bama man handled my Gators, ( here's where we need a crying smiley emoticon). They played a great game, they deserve it, hats off to them.
But having watched the Texas-Nebraska game, the idea of a 'Bama- Texas match up doesn't really appeal to me. Would like to see TCU jump Texas, 'Bama-Tcu seems a more compelling matchup.
