I completely agree with Hamilton's disqualification, but I'd like it to end now.

It's done, it doesn't need to go any further. He lied and now he's been punished with what could potentially change the outcome of the championship (it has only just started, remember).

In other news, third in practise is OK. Weather is ominous though.

And now third on the grid...? Well done.

Lol at Toyota surrounding the back of the car with people so as BBC could not film their new triple-deck diffuser! So if the twin deck ones are illegal are these ones more illegal?

The onboard shot from the chasing car of him overcorrecting was quite dramatic. Once second he looked like he was holding it, the next he was gone at right-angles to the track :D

The sort of manoeuvre you expect to see Raikkonen making...

Rain soon...

EDIT: Fill wets? What are Ferrari up to?

This is so confusing - Glock is going on full wets now, and Button has just pitted on intermediates. Thunder!

EDIT: It's an effing monsoon! I'd be confident winning driving me parents' 207 in these conditions.

It's even confusing with the Live timing page up...

Safety car!

Time for Hamilton to bugger something up...

so what happens now? is the rain just too heavy to race in and they will have to wait for it to stop to restart?

Race director has to make a call: restart after a while or abandon race and the current order stands, but for 50% points as they have not completed 75% of the laps...

If Charlie decides ...

nevermind. Martin has explained...

I'd be surprised if we restarted. A restart would happen in at least 10 minutes (not likely:rolleyes:) and even then I'm not convinced we get 75% race distance within the 2 hours.

This is all getting a bit stupid now.

There's no way they can reach 75% of the race...

Q: How do you confuse a Formula 1 fan of 18 years?
A: Show them the Malaysian Grand Prix 2009.

They're gonna restart under safety car. The cars behind Button, Glock and Heidfield start, then those three go on ahead. But they only have 10 minutes to do these 4 laps assuming they start now. There needs to be a much better stream of information to fans if they're gonna keep them interested.

Would be pointless to restart the race now.

10 minutes warning if giving right now (11:47 BST) would mean 3 minutes of racing. doubt they would even get those from 3rd onwards around to unlap themselves.

So they can do one lap under the safety car?
Does that some how get to 75%?

Ah, the 10 mins has passed...

EDIT: GREAT JOB BRAWN GP AND JENSON!!

Good work JB, hope the appeal goes their way and these results stand. Shame about the confusion over where the race would actually get called though!

that was a strange race.

i know i was laufing because just earlier they were talking about how they can't cover up there car but the just position people in front of it.
