ya that track is ... flsdfjjidfj

doesn't anyone else think Alonso was involved in the event?

Not really. I believe it is entirely possible that three people as stupid as those three were could come up with something that dumb.

However, none of this matters because Massa ruined his own race by driving off with a fuel hose attached.

I think it's not only possible, but probable... it's more improbable for example that such an integral part of the team, and the one that stood to benefit most from such an arrangement did not know nor at the very least have any inkling... though one could argue that it pales in comparison to the stance that he has since adopted that he deserved the win.

More troubling is that the FIA, despite been made aware of this at the end of last season, did not feel the need to investigate the allegation further. That the race result has been allowed to stand, even more so.

That's slightly revisionist isn't it.

First laps of the new Abu Dhabi track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikvjwBEYk50

Can't say I'm a big fan from that...

What a strange track....

50% full throttle, 50% full brakes.... and a pit exit which probably will be of some influence during a race, ahum.
It's their substitution for having 0% chance of rain to randomize the result :p

Oh well, someone just put some more random tarmac in the middle of a desert, where no political pressure is around, but lots of money is.
No champagne for the winner, and no pits girls, mind....

Well that was one heck of a qualifying session.

Button and Vettel kneecapped themselves and the local boy does good.

I admit to hoping Button wins the WC, but then I wanted Lewis in 2007 and Massa in 2008 so that means Rubens probably gets it, instead.

Still, I was okay with Kimi in 2007 and Lewis in 2008 so I will certainly be ok with Rubino in 2009.

One could be forgiven for thinking that you weren't speaking metaphorically in Button's case... judging by the way he's limping to the WDC in such an embarrassing fashion. :p :p :p

I think she's actually from Austrian TV, not Sky...
