Your new defensive star was a -1 tonight.
5-2 Leafs win over the big bad Bruins.
Rask is quite the team player.
Looks like James Reimer is going to be a star in this league.
A good old fashioned beating.
All I have to say is this: Reimer, WOW. What a performance.
Its easy to nail Cooke to the wall. A star does that and the wrist gets slapped really hard! I love the NHL but honestly it's a mess right now.
Yeah, it's easy to nail Cooke to the wall because he's a repeat offender cheapshot artist. If this was his first offense, it would have been 2 games. He's been suspended 3 times in that past 2 years, and once before that. He's been penalized and thrown out of games on multiple occasions because of his actions.
How can you defend that jackass? Take off your homer goggles.......
After the season ends (and it'll probably end in the first round for the Pens), Mario needs to get rid of him. Pay him out, trade him, send him to the minors. Whatever. To keep him would be completely hypocritical after his open letter to the league.

Penguins general manager Ray Shero said in a statement the suspension was "warranted because that's exactly the kind of hit we're trying to get out of the game. Head shots have no place in hockey. We've told Matt in no uncertain terms that this kind of action on the ice is unacceptable and cannot happen. Head shots must be dealt with severely, and the Pittsburgh Penguins support the NHL in sending this very strong message."

Chill out bro I am not defending him I am just saying they wont hesitate to slap some wrists. They do what they are supposed to do with Cooke and hey look see we are doing something about this. Yeah Cooke is probably done as a Pen but I think Asham is back in the lineup. Whats the difference?

Where did I say the penalty was too stiff? I dont have a problem with it, I just think they let to much stuff go from players that don't have the history. Yes I am a Pens fan and yes I am a fan of Cooke but I don't condone what he did or think the punishment is unfair. It is what it is.

It was actually a photo of a girl with a red maple leaf tattoo that I photoshopped my blue leaf and infinite loop onto.
I've been itching to get a leaf tattoo sometime soon anyway......might as well be a tramp stamp!

Thanks the Pens man they do this all the time. They get you were you are like yeah we are burying these guys and then blow the whole thing. Its entertaining but I am sure we have a few less Pittsburghers with us today. Very happy to see James Neal pull the shootout goal. I really like this kid for now and the future but he hasnt gotten many breaks in the black and gold so far. Sick shot last night tho. I think that is 92 points. Pretty close to secure.

Just got back from the Bruins/Jersey game. B's kicked their ass, Lucic netted his 30th goal. gotta love beating dirty jersey
HATE Boston but I like Lucic and hate NJ even more. Go beans!
Looch has become my favorite player. dudes bad ass and he's becoming a threat to score every time he's on the ice. he's still only 22 too. he is gonna be a force for a while in this league, he could put up 40 next year. i have been to six games this season (5-1!) and seen 8 lucic goals.
