GO BAYLOR GO for no other reason that I want to see Baylor win the Big 12 in Texas and hopefully in the south.

Also rooting for Oragen to loss. I want to see a Non AQ play for the champaign.

Chip Kelly is a complete and total douchebag

He says that cal did a "nice" job playing against them..

Umm Mr. Kelly, you had fewer points in the entire game than you can score in 6 minutes. You are lucky to survive this game-you won this game because of a penalty. You didnt win because you put up points.

That said, I am not happy with my Cardinal's performance-we played like crap and had horrible play calling. However, I will give full marks to Arizona State-you played fantastic D and we certainly did not deserve this win.

GO BAYLOR GO

Waa waaaa!!!

WTF happened at the end of the AUB - UGA game?

I'm talking about punches being thrown and players being ejected ...

Nick Fairley, Auburn's classless D-Lineman, that's what

Georgia players seemed upset when Auburn defensive lineman Nick Fairley, who had been called for roughing the passer earlier, slammed into Aaron Murray's legs after the Bulldogs quarterback threw. Murray stayed down for a couple of minutes and had to be helped off the field.

Asked if the Bulldogs were displeased that Fairley had seemed to spend the afternoon hitting Murray just after he delivered a pass, Richt said: "I'm not going to answer that question."

It was bad enough that the announcers commented on it and replays were shown throughout the game
He lived up to his reputation as a dirty player

ESPN Blog on Nick Fairley's classless play

Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairley has had a great season, but he got away with several late hits, and borderline dirty hits on Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray on Saturday.

Richt had his team take a knee to keep it from getting worse
Auburn had 2 players ejected for throwing punches

Videos of just a few of the cheap shots

Stay classy Auburn

Congrats to the Gamecocks for dismantling the Gators and winning the East (finally)

well damn. Now is is go OSU GO.

Next stop beating OU and taking the south.

A&M's chance at winning the South is pretty remote, so you'll probably get your way. If A&M beats Nebraska (not likely, but possible) and beats UT (looks pretty likely at this point), and OU beats Baylor and OSU, and assuming OSU beats KU, there will be a three-way tie in the South at 6-2. The tiebreaker will probably come down to BCS standings again, and I'm not sure the Aggies can do anything to jump both OSU and OU. Of course, if OSU wins out then the point is moot.

The Cowboys clearly are better than I gave them credit for earlier in the season, but A&M still should have won that game against them. As happy as I am with where the Ags are sitting right now (7-3 with a four-game winning streak), it's easy to think about the woulda-coulda had Sherman switched QBs earlier in the year. We might be sitting at 9-1 (or even 10-0).

Stay classy Auburn

Well look it it this way, Dawg. At least if Auburn actually wins out and wins the BCS championship, they'll have to vacate it soon afterward since Cam Newton will be ruled ineligible at some point.

I don't say this often—especially when it comes to the Iron Bowl—but this year...ROLL TIDE!

I believe you are correct, sir. I will be shocked if that isn't the case, even if Cam Newton himself was unaware of the money shopping (which I don't believe).

I think anyone can check the board and see that I am rarely, if ever, a sore loser when it comes to the Dawgs. I usually give the devil his due, even when we lose to the hated Gators, but the play of Nick Fairley was irresponsible and reprehensible in my opinion. Would it have changed the outcome of the game? No, and that isn't the point. The Dawgs lost because they couldn't make a big stop when they needed it throughout the game.

However, Nick Fairley's play (all year to honest) personifies the worst of college football on the field in the same way as the Cam Newton drama personifies the worst off the field.

I completely agree.

But I honestly don't think Auburn will escape with W's against both 'Bama and the Gamecocks.

So who will be sitting ready at #3?

I think for the first time all season Boise State actually controls it's own destiny. We've already re-jumped TCU in the AP and Coaches polls, so I think there's a very real chance we might jump them in the BCS after next week.

Seeing the two polls released reflecting us ahead of TCU puts my blood pressure at ease, because had we not jumped them again I would have imploded. ;)

How in the **** did BSU jump TCU?

SDSU is a much much better team than Idaho, TCU has played TWO more games than BSU. They found a way to win against a very good team (who has only lost to Mizzou by 3 pts, BYU by 3 and Now TCU by 5) and gets penalized??

I hope Nevada kills BSU and puts them into place personally.

Also.....how did Nebraska drop in one of the rankings after LIMITING KU to 87 yards of TOTAL offense in the game?

The sad truth is that non-BCS schools have to kill everyone they play to keep the respect. Boise didn't kill LaTech as badly as they should have earlier this season, but they still beat them by 29. Yes, SDSU is a much better team than most of the WAC, but the idiot pollsters don't pay attention to that.

Despite the fact that Nevada is ranked, if Boise doesn't pound them it will hurt their rank. Stupid but true.

I think the pollsters are worried about NU's one-dimensional offense. When Taylor Martinez is less than 100% (or not playing at all), the Huskers' offense sucks. Kansas has a terrible defense, one of the very worst in all of football, but Nebraska only managed 20 points and 397 yards against them while losing the turnover battle.

That kind of performance won't cut it against A&M this week, probably won't be good enough against CU in two weeks, and certainly won't be enough against OSU or OU (or A&M again) in the Big 12 Championship Game.

fairley's a punk and should have been booted for that cheap shot. they should have put in some no name lineman and blasted him in the knees.

the truth is, the mid-majors need to play quality ooc opponents. it doesn't help BSU that VA Tech lost to a D2 school and that OSU sucks. Same thing with TCU, their big win was supposedly against #5 BCS Utah who just got their butt kicked by pathetic ND. Throw in that Baylor lost again and is showing their true colors and again Oregon State loses at home to a crappy WSU team that hadn't won a Pac 10 game in 3 years.

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!

That was awesome.

In light of Utah's exposure as a fraud, how can you rationalize TCU being above Boise State?

We (non-AQs) have to be perfect in every way. A five point loss to SDSU at home is unacceptable in the eyes of the voters.

It's the life of a non-AQ.

EDIT: Whoo hoo!! We jumped them in the Harris poll, too!

It's all by narrow margins though, so I don't think it will be enough to jump them in the BCS rankings... Until next week! :D

Your BP is easing and mine is going into overload!
No BS about it though TCU should have gotten it done at home and on senior night! SDSU is pretty decent but the [former] #3 team in the country should have put them to sleep by at least 30 points IMO.

TCU = FAIL for not covering the spread on that one. ;)

It's all about the style points I'm afraid. Frogs needed a much better showing to stay put at #3. Utah getting roasted by Notre Dame completely negated TCU's win from last weekend.

I hate that tie breaker meathod. I think a better one is the school with the best gradutation rate for their football team should win out in a 3 way.
Of course that would screw OU, and UT which are at the bottom but I think they should reward schools who give their players something for the future.
