I did see that play. Eric Decker had the corners beat, Tebow chucked it up there and Decker got it. That pass required arm strength, not accuracy. That's the one thing he's been able to do, heave it downfield.

Besides that, one pass does not change my point. His completion rate is 45%. Anyone can throw up a few luckies, especially when the WR does all the work.

It certainly seems that Rex Ryan is frustrated with him, he's hardly trying to hide it these days.
 
To be fair, Sanchez got beat by himself and Denver's Defense. Jets Defense had Tebow beat for most of the game, then he came out with an empty back field and ran almost every play in that drive. He can't pass too well from the pocket, but on the dogleg, he can hurl it pretty nicely, and that's what defenses need to look at. He plays QB like I play Madden (only with less completions!).

yep. they've geared their(broncos) offense to his style. that said you've got to be wary of tebow for 60 minutes. you don't have to like him, you don't have to respect him... but ya gotta be wary. stupid jets.
 
His 'je ne sais quois' is that he's playing college football in the pros and he's winning. It's capturing people's imaginations but realisticallly speaking how will this end?

1. injury
2. defenses adjusting their scheme, right now they're just not set up to play college ball. It won't take long before they're easily able to figure him out.

If he had the throwing arm of vick or scam he could make this work, but he doesn't
 
Jets had the best defense for playing against the option and they nearly did it. 5 minutes of lapsed concentration let them down.

Along with the pick 6.

Although as I've said before, Tebow can only play college football in the NFL for so long until his body fails him. Until then, it's exciting to watch him. Should I change him to 'Him'? Lol.

Agreed. Our defense put some great hits on Sanchez, and the pick six was a huge play along with the turnover on the ensuing kickoff. While Tim led a great drive to win the game it was our defense and special teams that kept us in the game to make that that drive possible.

That sack by Von was a thing of beauty. He literally threw the OT to the turf. Nice to finally have a great pass rusher alongside Doom.

Niners have not imploded weeks ago like critics (any myself) thought. Smith is actually looking decent and if he peaks and the D stays relevant, then SF has a chance to go all the way.

It is pretty amazing that SF could wrap up their division with a month left in the schedule. They have a 5 game lead with only 6 games left to play.
 
Several of the commentators and analyst yesterday were talking about how interesting of a game the Niners and the Packers would be in the playoffs.

I can't wait to watch the Lions vs. Packers while I stuff may face with turkey on Thursday. :D

Only because I have a friend who is a die hard Lion's fan, that I hope the Lion's get blown out! :D

Last season's NFC West "winners" were the Seahawks with a losing record. I'm amazed that it isn't wrapped up already!
 
the pack squeeked one out over the motor city kitties :D While I'm happy to be 11-0 I'm not happy with the non-convincing victories thus far.

looks like the cowwranglers going to pull it out against the phins
