Honestly, I'd be shocked if you got a 2015, seems like everyone is getting 2016 or 2017, myself included.[EDIT: Gave apple cc details]

Yes. Surprised they specified processor speed. Still I wouldn't be surprised if you got a 2016 or 2017 with the 2.6, 2.7 or 2.8.I could be wrong but if they said it's 2.5Ghz, doesn't that mean it'd be a 2015? I'm looking on everymac.com and I don't see any 15 inch models that had 2.5Ghz processors in 2016-17.

Just curious, has there been any reported cases yet of Apple agreeing to replace the laptop and then going back on their word?
Damn, sorry to hear that my man.Yes, I am one such case. I went into the Apple store on the 25th at 5:15p (California), had a work authorization for a CRU completed for me. The following day, I was called and notified that corporate denied the request for the CRU and that I will have to wait for the battery to come through like everyone else. They said they would notify me when the battery becomes available, likely first week of August.
I am disappointed to say the least, but I thought I would share to let you know not all are success stories.
Damn, sorry to hear that my man.
