2012 iMac - next big date?

A question for you old timers. How much does apple discount the iMac on Black Friday, and what if there is no stock available for weeks (assuming my looooooooong wait is finally over)?
I'm so hoping today is the day. Got to work early so I can leave early and be home for the live stream. February was a very long time ago when I decided to make the switch.

My thoughts:

- The old model is almost sold out in all stores.
- There are many discounts. For example in a few shops around my town: 950€ for the base 21'5.
- The Apple online shop has shipping delay.

I think the new iMac will be released today.

All base model iMac's now have 1-3 shipping days in Apple Store Netherlands, last week they were all on 24hr shipping.
 
live stream today, thats great!! Im gonna have a beer and watch it. If no iMac it can be dangerous, I could smash my screen in :(

In the USA base models were available to ship immediately but if you made any changes the ship times suddenly jumped to 5-7 days.

Amazon only has a handful of Minis and iMacs in stock.

And iMacs are sold out in many geographic areas, according to posts here in the last few days.

But at this point, I'll take anything as a sign.

Gonna get my an "iMac Air".
 
Hmn, maybe this iMac thingy could be even bigger than we imagine.

I mean, how much can you possibly tell about a smaller ipad?
"here is the ipad mini. It's smaller and does exactly the same as the large iPads." Done.

Anyone know how long this is supposed to run?

iPad mini + iBooks will be a big discussion. Other than that...what else needs refreshing? Mac Mini and iMac.

Don't forget they waste half the time telling us how great they bare and how many toys and toy apps they have sold. :rolleyes:
