Value wise, it's a wash. Two teams were in a bidding war with the Bears and it only cost the Bears a third and later round draft position to move up one spot. It's neither bad nor good as Chicago needed a long term solution at quarterback.i've yet to see, or hear, anyone say it was a good move.
My Cowboys have had a pretty solid draft

Now could they find a fit for a head coach?Pete Carroll said Monday that Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III are among the backup quarterback options that the Seattle Seahawks are exploring.
Colin would be a good fit with the hawks.
Now could they find a fit for a head coach?
"I got an idea, I'll throw the ball. What could go wrong the Patriots can never win this game."Come on. Pete isn't that bad.

That's his legacy now.Man..You have to bring that up.
Seahawks Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy died at the age of 48.
The Seahawks released a statement on Cortez Kennedy's death, which read in part: "Cortez Kennedy has been a pillar of the Seahawks franchise since joining the team as a rookie in 1990. Tez was the heart and soul of the Seahawks through the 1990s and endeared himself to 12s all across the Pacific Northwest as a player who played with a selfless and relentless approach to the game."

Very sad.... Just went to the Seahawks twitter page. Lots of comments and lots of pictures of him. Way to young.
Hopefully he cuts the crap with his political statements, nobody need a 2nd string distraction. Although he's most likely going to be the best backup In the behind jimmy gorapallo(?).Ya he was a treasure in Seattle.
In other news Colin Kaepernick is visiting Seattle today.
If he accepts 2nd string and less money he could be Wilson's backup this season.
A good thing in my opinion.

Many conservative cities who root for the seahawks. The subburbs of seattle are pretty mixed. All the farming cities in washington are conservative. Alaska. Idaho. Parts of Oregon. Me.I dont think the hippies and hipsters in Seattle care whether he stands or sits, they might not even know who's in office... Perfect landing spot for him.
ESPN article regarding Richard Sherman - seems believable. I think Sherman's personality, and intensity are such that it works against Carroll's laid back approach. What seems to be almost like clockwork is that the Seahawks start of slow, losing the first few games of the season, reports of schisms in the locker room start being published and then they start winning some games.
I don't know if they'll be back to the level that got them to the superbowl this year, but if they don't, I think the fractions in the locker room will only make matters worse.
I hate to go there but I was supposed to be the MVP this year of the Super Bowl, but it’s all good, we got another shot. . . . I don’t want to make this no competition thing with me and my quarterback. I’m just talking about from based off that game. Let’s [say] it like this: if I would have kept getting the ball, if I would have stayed in the game, I don’t know why I got out of the game actually. But if I would have stayed in the game, I would have got MVP. I’m looking at my stats and I see my numbers didn’t lie. Look at my numbers.
Food for thought.
Do you think Atlanta has moved on from its SB loss? I'm not trying rub dirt in their wound (being a pats fan), but its an honest question. Recently we've heard remarks from people like Matt Ryan saying its behind them. I mean it seems the way various folks talk, its almost like they're trying to convince themselves.
Then you have Freeman who is quoted as saying (full story):
It was such a devastating loss, I can't help but think, regardless of what they say that loss still must be resonating within them.
