There was only 1m 34s left on the clock and pitt had no timeouts. They had to do an onside kick.Jags had 3 timeouts left.

No, the first one when they had over 2 minutes to go. Gambling on the defense would have been better than the onside kick.

One could make an argument these games are rigged lol. Titans with their terrible timeout choice, Steelers with their weird onside kick and then this guy not being able to make a simple tackle or just push a guy out of bounds.

The spread was -5

It's plays like that, that separate the good players from the great. You have to have the awareness to know what you need to do in that specific situation. Even if he just stood there, he had Crowley for help even if Diggs some how juked him. It just sucks that ONE player actually did lose the game for their team.

WHAT A WAY TO END THE VIKINGS GAME!!! Holy Smokes!!!!
Vikings looked good until it went sideways for them in the 4th quarter, but that last play was very surprising, there were two receivers stacked, and one of the defenders hit another defender taking him out as the ball arrived, and a free path and no one to stop the guy who caught it... to the end zone! :D

All I have to stay is that I'm glad Pittsburgh lost, the level of arrogance exhibited by the team, was such that they completely overlooked Jacksonville. I mean the coach was reported to looking forward to the rematch earlier this season. Bell and Mitchell both tweeted stuff about playing the Pats when they hadn't even taken a snap against Jacksonville.

Poor preparation and coaching led to their downfall. Of course the coaches lack of faith in his defense led them to try an onside kick, and I guess if you don't think you can stop them (and they couldn't all game) then they need to try something, but their track record with onside kicks seems to be horrible.

The Patriots would be served well by taking note and not looking past Jacksonville. I'm sure all of the pundits are already proclaiming the Patriots to be the winner and I agree it appears to be a David vs. Goliath match up, yet if you recall, David won that match up :)

Yeah if that one defender who had a shot at tackling him would have kept his head up and tried to wrap his arms around him instead of dipping under and trying trying to flip him he probably would have won the game for the Saints.

Or at the very least force the vikings to try a long field goal to tie it up. The momentum was with the Saints, so I think that's one reason why it was such a shocking end.

If he just makes the tackle, the clock runs out
No way he makes the sideline or they get set for a FG or spike

If he just disrupts him and doesn't take out his own fellow defender, then that defender gets a chance to make a play

Stunning ending to an entertaining final 3 minutes with what, 4 lead changes?
