My order just got to Hong Kong (on it’s way to the east coast USA). I’m curious how and when you can upgrade your UPS shipping? I have signed up for their my choice premium service if that helps...

Under delivery options there is a section to change the delivery date and you can check if they offer any dates sooner than what’s currently scheduled. Worth a shot, IMO $5 was better than having to wait like 2 weeks lol, too bad they couldn’t expedite mine
It's in the US! That seems pretty fast. Only 2 days since it originated in China.
Mine was in HK for 2 days, but there are others here who's had much shorter times.
My MBA has mirrored yours almost exactly. Hopefully soon!

Same here, and yes it reached HK at 5:09 and still waiting, I think serveal parcels are waiting together in the same place.
Destination: Europe.
Mine also currently showing “Cleared customs” and Monday delivery. Seeing other people’s tracking that has reached Alaska overnight and then been out for delivery the next day, I would be very surprised if it took until Monday for us..

Box opened, laptop and power supply taken out, box put away, hands washed, laptop exterior and power supply and cable wiped with wrung-out soapy cloth, hands washed again, will power on later.
This is to replace my late-2013 15" MBP which is still working ok apart from the screen which I shattered a couple of months ago. With no external monitor it only works connected via HDMI to my TV. It's going to be so nice to be able to relax on my sofa with a laptop again rather than sitting rather close to a 40" screen! Good for porn, though. Err I mean lockdown fitness yoga youtube videos.

Oh well... At least I was able to schedule a confirmed two hour window (even though my package still says both 4/20 delivery and “date tentative”).
Yes, I think ours are probably traveling together.
Here is my timeline so far:
MBA Space Gray i7/16/2TB
April 1 - Order Placed (Processing)
April 10 - Pending charge on card
April 13 - Preparing to ship
April 14 - Shipped
It’s on its way to the east coast (USA). Apple has always said it should arrive between the 21st and 28th. Hopefully UPS is right and I can get it a day early!
Update: Switched to "preparing to ship" on April 16th. Still doubt I'll get it by the end of the original window, but at least there's progress.
Wow I thought I was excessive... My MBA sat in its box for >2 weeks due to UPS shenanigans so any COVID that may have been on it is long dead...
I ordered April 4th and just went to preparing to ship today also. Happy to see some progress!
Thanks. It has been tough many days but people seem to be very grateful. I have random people yell thank you to me who I may not even be delivering to.
Was it the 16 gb ram version? I was thinking that was the hold up. Or maybe we just ordered at bad times.

I’ve been looking at general patterns and it seems tough to tell unless it’s charted on a spreadsheet as I think the OP was going to do. I feel like many people got theirs to the “preparing to ship” stages faster than mine even, when ordering later, however, this may not actually be the truth.
It took 12 days for my order to go from “processing” to “preparing to ship”.
I think we just ordered during a bad time in terms of the virus and volume of orders.
We barely have enough UPS drivers where I work to keep up with demand and are running behind daily. I can only imagine how swamped they must be in China trying to get workers back into the factories with all that’s going on.

I washed my hands after taking the computer out of the box due to the number of delivery folk that had touched it. Wiping the macbook and cables wasn't really necessary but took about 10 seconds, so I did it. Washing my hands again I would have done anyway, just because at least for the first hour or so I don't want fingerprints on my new computer
Currently copying over my files and apps. Laptop is great so far!
