Hmm. Mine has the same predicted delivery time (in the UK). Left EPZ a day after yours and arrived in Hong Kong a day behind too. Following tracking shared from others here I thought it might be loaded onto a flight to Dubai in the early hours of the morning (UK time) but it’s still in Hong Kong! Still hoping it arrives on the 5th but interesting that it is way behind yours with the same scheduled delivery date!

I ordered on the 21st of April my MBA (i7 / 16GB / 256GB). Since 27th of April it says in DHL Express tracking „shipment information received“. But today it is the 5th day without any progress. Apple says estimated delivery on the 8th of May. Let’s see 🙄

Mine too, it’s been on hold at Hong Kong since Saturday 04/29 (04/30 1:08am HKT) and it hasn’t moved yet since. Still there and scheduled on Tues. 05/05 in France.
As a reminder, in Germany, 1st May is a holiday day, and there’s no UPS service on this day according to UPS DE website, same as France, so, i think that my MacBook Air should show his face Monday since there’s no flights from Hong Kong to Koeln on Saturday. So Sunday, our packages should fly over Dubai then Koeln and delivered next business day so Monday...

I got from someone on Twitter showed me his Tracking Status of his MacBook Air that he received a week prior us.
Like it’s been on hold at Hong Kong for two days then, I assume that during Next Saturday-Sunday night on our time, the package will ship between 11-12am HKT time so 5-6am here in France, then on Sunday afternoon at 2pm, the package will arrive at Dubai, then Koeln at 11pm, and during the night of Sunday to Monday, the package will go to destination countries and the same day would be delivered.

I do wonder if the cause of this is different flight destinations from Cologne to different parts of the UK. Example if mine is flying into Birmingham / East Midlands / Manchester, a hub with fewer flights from Cologne than yours to a London airport?
Mine's left Cologne this morning, so theory to be proved or disproved at some point today I expect.
Whenever I get one of these deliveries, I'm a bit in awe of the logistics business and just how slick an operation it has to be to function.
Me too! I find the logistics processes fascinating, which is why I enjoy tracking deliveries so much. My wife thinks there’s something wrong with me though. (She’s probably right!)
I’m with you on that. I think UPS logistics are supposed to be the best in the world. It’s amazing how they can time everything perfectly.
My husband thinks I’m a bit nuts too with this so I choose not to tell him I track these things multiple times a day when I do (although nothing to track right now because my shipment hasn’t gone past processing).

using a 2014 mac mini, have been using a external ssd for OS so it has increased the speed greatly. also have a 12.9 ipad pro 3rd gen.
would u advice me to get a 2020 mac mini i5 model or a 2020 mba i5 model?

I ordered on 19.04. Got the DHL 'shipment information received' on 28.04 and no updates since then. It's very frustrating not to know where my MBA is.
Patience...patience.
BTW. I don't wanna even know how many times per day I check the DHL web for any updates. (definitely too many)
Theory disproved.
It's now in Stanford le Hope, Essex. Based on timings I suspect it came via road and boat/train rather than plane.Theory disproved.

Hopefully we will have some progress soon. I can’t wait anymore. And not having any status is really worse. My last MBA which I had to send back a few days ago was delivered with UPS and there was at least a status where my MBA is.

Secretly I'm hoping for an upgrade to Monday too, but my main concern is having it time for the long VE Day weekend.

Nothing to be jealous about - You and me are still just on “processing”. In the U.K. there is a holiday on the 8th as well making it super unlikely that I’ll get anything next week.
Curious if anybody received their new MBA 2020 in Canada yet? I ordered mine with config i5/16/256 on April 24 and it moved to Preparing to ship today and the transaction on credit card also happened today morning. The estimated delivery date is still 13 May - 21 May which was provided originally.

i5/8/512 on Apr 18. Charged and prepared to ship on Apr 24 and shipped on 27 with UPS. It arrived at the warehouse just few miles from me on 28, but it keeps delayed until now... So I still haven't got the parcel yet.
And the funny thing is that when I went to the warehouse myself, trying to get the parcel, the staff there said it's with the driver "out for delivery". And I still haven't received it yet! I start to panic and imagine the driver stole my MBA lol. I mean.. looking at the UPS warehouse's 1.6 star Google reviews (1000+ reviews), it's really hard not to think on that!

That's crazy.. did they gave you any update as to why the package is being delayed? I read in the forum that UPS is slammed right now with back orders.
On 28 and 29 they put an "An emergency situation or severe weather condition has delayed delivery" for twice. I assume they will do it again today. I understand this COVID-19 situation is hard, but it's still funny when you know the driver keeps it on the truck but doesn't send it.

I ordered my CTO MacBook Air on 26/04 and mine is still processing.
They anticipate mine will arrive between May 15-21.
Hopefully sooner as Apple have taken the payment yesterday which, from experience, only gets taken when its been shipped or shipping process. hope to have an update soon!
