2020 Macbook Air order status

I ordered mine with config i5/16/256 on April 24 and it moved to Preparing to ship yesterday and the transaction on credit card also happened yesterday morning. The estimated delivery date was 13 May - 21 May to Montreal, Canada which was provided originally but changed to 13 May last night.
Is anyone seeing “Your package has been delayed due to events beyond our control. We're adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible.” When checking through shipment status?
my delivery just advanced to this coming Thursday 7th May. Coming UPS. That's over a week earlier than expected so I need to get this MBA tidy and ready to sell. Where did I put that white box?

I'm so jealous! I just noted you bought yours on the 23rd and I bought mine on the 24th...which means you'll get it right before the May 8th holiday...and me not so much!
Mine is still on processing though so not much hope there.
Ordered Gold i7/16GB/1TB on 4/28 with ETA of 5/14 - 5/21 and California destination. As of today 5/2, still shows order processing. Any chance you think it will ship early?
I ordered the same day same ship dates to Michigan. I think the best we can hope for is the 14th from other history in this forum. I chose i5/16/256 SG
From what I’ve read, apple take the payment for your Mac upon shipping. This I can say was the same case for a few accessories I purchased, the payment was taken when they shipped them.
I’m hoping that mine changed to shipped in the next few days as the payment was taken on Friday! Fingers crossed on an early delivery date.
Quick Update : As I was supposing 2 days ago, my MacBook Air (and possibly simonlucas’s one) are on transit from Dubai to Koeln in Germany aboard on the UPS1

My guess would be optimistic, yes.
Mine left Stanford-le-Hope and got to Tamworth (my nearest UPS depot) in the early hours of Saturday. ETA is still Tuesday.
Possible of course that there is greater driver capacity in the London region.
You and simonlucas had a DHL vs UPS race. The race hasn't ended but it appears UPS is in the lead...
DHL has no chance now.

Same for me. Except that my „shipment information received“ is from 27th and destination is Germany.
There’s still a chance! My previous MBA 2020 order came via DHL. Tracking said Eindhoven for a while then out of the blue I got a text from DHL said they were going to deliver it the next day (a week earlier than Apple had suggested)! So you could still get it tomorrow or Tuesday.
Hurrah-in Cologne now! Any idea how it gets from there to UK? Can’t see any UPS flights heading in this direction. Truck?
