Where does yours go to? Mine is going to California, not sure if it makes any difference. Also mine has a trade in, I have not done a trade in before, does my package includes the box for the trade in?

It is coming to Boston. I don't know how trade ins work. This is my first Mac ever!

Update: my scheduled Delivery with DHL was meant to be 18th (a week today) but now the tracking shows as scheduled for delivery by EOD tomorrow.
Hopefully this is correct!

Really? This was in the UK and did they sit on it after it came from Cologne? Mine’s due to arrive tomorrow, I hope it does! UPS sent an email saying it’s coming tomorrow and the tracking notes it is as well.

Mine went to Hong Kong after EPZ, about two days later. It went, EPZ - HK - Dubai - Cologne and hopefully the UK!
Mine came over to the UK then sat with UPS Tamworth for 6 days. The parcel tracking went to delayed before eventually moving north. No out for delivery tracking today just turned up in my totally insecure parcels box. Luckily a neighbour messaged me so I retrieved it.

4/28 - Ordered Gold i7/16GB/1TB ETA 5/14 to California, USA
5/8 - Credit card charged
5/9 - Preparing to ship
5/10 - shipping via Fedex, ETA 5/15/20:

9:22 pm Shipment information sent to FedEx
8:28 pm SHANGHAI CN Left FedEx origin facility
7:06 pm SHANGHAI CN Picked up Scheduled for export
7:06 pm SHANGHAI CN In transit

Good timing as I took a day off from work on the ETA.

UPDATE:

5/12 SHANGHAI CN At local FedEx facility

It was about 2 business days from the charge appearing to the order being shipped (UPS to Northeast United States)

Thanks. Do custom built MacBooks (16gb RAM/512gb SSD/i7) get shipped from the US or from China? And what's the shipping speed that Apple uses on their "fastest delivery" option online?

No problem! For my custom build (i5/16gb ram) it shipped directly from china through UPS worldwide expedited shipping (https://www.ups.com/us/en/shipping/international/services/worldwide-expedited.page)

However, I think due to COVID there are less flights globally, so my shipment from China to the Northeast U.S. is scheduled to take 8 days total. (shipped 5/11, est. UPS delivery of 5/19)

When you ordered yours, did you get an email saying "dear customer, Apple will ship this product to you as soon as possible" and then it took 2 days for the tracking number to be sent to you?

I got that order confirmation email on 5/6 when I ordered.
5/9 card was charged
5/11 shipped with Estimated delivery, so it took 5 days from that email to get shipping info.

Thanks. I got the email after the charge instead lol. I hope they ship it sooner rather than later. So excited to be getting rid of my MBP 2015.
