The Bengals should remind everyone that games have to be played on the field, not in pundits' or fans' heads, and that is why we watch (sorry about that, @Rafterman).

Make no mistake, Bills fan like me know our teams' weaknesses. I knew the Bills D wouldn't be able yto stop Mixon/Chase/Higgins.
LOL, even the official dallas cowboys account is blaming Dak

Is that real? Wow. Normally, a team's twitter feed is a happy-happy joy-joy PR thing. That's brutal.

Yup its real - that gold check box is the new identifier to confirm someone's identity.

Don't get me wrong, Dak failed to lead the team to victory, Dak did have 2 INTs, but what shouldn't be missed is that you want your team, front office, media relations, etc to have the back of their star player. Instead they buried the man and that can't be good.

Yup, it is tough being the quarterback in Dallas and then to add this after a loss in SF. He is basically being made out to be the scape goat in the loss.

Sounds like the break was down by his ankle. Mine was pretty much in the middle and healed without any surgery.

I think that’s rather unfair, usually with these really close games you hope that your star players come up with more great plays than their star players, and the responsibility kind of evens out. A couple of great plays by the receivers and you’re back in the game, even after a brutal pick-6.

Yeah, he threw 2 picks but that isn’t the only reason the Cowboys lost. They only rushed for 76 yards, they only converted 5 of 15 on 3rd down, 7 penalties, etc.

With Pollard going down, they really only had Zeke and his production has bottomed out once he signed that mega-contract

I think Jerry was scared into his and Dak's contracts. Both were over-market for their talent. But he was scared of losing them so he caved. He would have been better off to pay Cooper, let Zeke walk (he found Pollard) and found a QB in the draft.

Which is why RBs are not worth mega contracts. Build a good OL, and you can plug just about anyone in there.
I've been saying this for years.

I believe that was the secret to the Cowboys success in the mid 90's. I want to say I recall Jimmy Johnson stating that they went into the draft each year looking for the best OL first...

The oddsmakers are really moving on the Chiefs/Bengals game. What started as Chiefs -2.5 is now Bengals 1.5 - 2.5. That is a 5-point swing. Wow.

Eagles are favored by 2.5 as well, but they are home and that is worth 2-2.5 points.

According to the sportsbooks, both games should be close.

I don't follow that betting stuff, but I think its a mistake to dismiss the Chiefs. I think the game is there's to lose, even with a gimpy Mahomes (I'll eat my words come monday :) )

I hope both are close and I hope both come down to the wire... well there is a little part of me hoping the Eagles, blow the living hell out of SF... but that is more of a personal vendetta towards that team since there was a game with some 58 seconds left and someone decides to roll right and throw the ball and then some "guy" caught the ball in the endzone. No hard feelings here.

I rarely bet, but I do follow betting lines because I think they are more honest than the sports shows talking heads.

KC has swung back to being a 1 point favorite. This line has moved back and forth quite a bit since it was released.

The moneyline on the Eagles/49'ers is now -150/+125 which is a decent spread.

I think the Bills and Bengals are overrated. But what makes the Bengals a concern is their quad - Burrow, Chase, Higgins and Mixon. Boyd too. That's their whole team. some dangerous weapons. D is average and the OL is not great.

The Cinci OL was 24th in the league getting their QB sacked. Better than last season, but not by much.

Yes, but still not getting beat quick. They do give up some hits and sacks. But the defenders are not getting past like no one blocked them. Stats don't always tell the full story.

That's one lengthy vendetta! And is still the single most thrilling sporting moment I've witnessed — the emotions swung completely while the ball was in flight, from "Oh no, Montana's throwing it away" to "OMG CLARK CAUGHT IT!!!!"
