I rarely bet, but I do follow betting lines because I think they are more honest than the sports shows talking heads.

KC has swung back to being a 1 point favorite. This line has moved back and forth quite a bit since it was released.

The moneyline on the Eagles/49'ers is now -150/+125 which is a decent spread.
What is the story on Mahomes injury?

Exactly! I think those who follow sports and a particular team alllll have something that still stings a little even years later.
For me it was the 1979 AFC Championship game between my Luv Ya Blue Oilers and the much hated Steelers. The particular moment was the Mike Renfro TD catch that was called a non-catch. It's been over 40 years and I'm still salty.😠😠

Yes, that one time must be awful. Nothing like the Immaculate Reception, i.e. immaculate incompletion, or the "Tuck Rule" game... yeah... you got it bad. #eyeroll

That was a fun team to watch. Dan Pastorini and Earl Campbell!

Sports have a lot to teach people about attachment.

I’m quite looking forward to tonight’s games, it looks like we will have two high-quality matchups with not a lot of margin between the sides. Both are being shown live here, but I’m going to just watch the highlights the following morning, my regular sleep is important to me.

or the "Tuck Rule" game.
Until that game, I never heard of that rule.

Two things, first and foremost. Without that win, I don't think New England would have the dynasty. I really think that did usher the Patriot way into existence. Secondly. That didn't win the game it tied it. In OT, the patriots won the game, so the Raiders had an opportunity to stop the patriots and win the game in OT.

For us in the Northeast - the game starts at 3:00 for the first and 6:30 for the second.

As I sit here and type, I'm going to venture that the Eagles will easily beat the 49ers, but I have no idea how the Cin/KC game is going to go.

With a healthy Mahomes, I'd give the small edge to the Chiefs with a gimpy Mahomes its anyone's game.

I think they are both tossups. I don't see a clear favorite in either game.

Big words. I’m not so sure the Eagles will do so well, they were good against a lot of lesser teams. Against the Dallas Cowboys they won one and they lost one, so I suspect the 49ers have a fair chance. I think its going to come down to a few key plays.

Imagine the 49ers winning this... what an embarrassment it would be for the Eagles... against a team with a backup of a backup QB. If the Eagles screw up just a little, their fans will turn against them. That's what the 49ers need. I'd really like to see 49ers vs Chiefs, but logic predicts Eagles vs Bengals for what will probably be the most boring SB ever.

This is ridiculous... now Johnson is out and Purdy is back for handoffs, because he can't throw the ball. In addition to the injuries the refs are making bad calls or rather no calls in favour for the Eagles. Johnson was a facemask, 1st Eagles touchdown wasn't one because Smith didn't catch the ball. He knew that, when he got up he called for no-huddle to avoid a challenge.

Jimmy G. is there watching the game... just saying. What's the worst that could happen?

This is so comically calamitous, all you can really do is laugh and turn off the TV. Between the injuries, the bad calls by the refs, and all the mistakes they're making on both sides of the ball, it's not happening for the 49ers.

And even worse... my prediction is Mahomes isn't mobile and that's why the Bengals will win. Then we have two teams playing in the SB that never would have made it under normal conditions. And while we're at it, why not decide the SB winner by injuries and bad ref calls too?

And just as I write this, Eagles player is pushing a 49ers player into the punter and the 49ers get the flag. Worst season for bad ref calls in the past two decades or so.
