Broncos country, let’s ride!
Like when he was with the Saints, Peyton is going to be working with his hands tied With them losing the 2023 and 2024 draft picks to hire him. They'll have a harder time restocking the team.

I think overall, he'll bring a new culture to the broncos and hopefully put a stop to the prima donna antics that Wilson did last year.

WTF ..? Seriously ? Wow.

So Vic Fangio to the Dolphins isn't a done deal. Word came out earlier that he was going to be their DC, last night he said the deal has yet to be finalized. I think rumor mill is churning with him joining Peyton in Denver

Coaching has to catch that too. They didn't. Blame the refs but also blame the coaching staff.
First point, absolutely correct. Blame refs on this one? Why? There was a better camera angle than any of the refs had. That's what replay review is for. After the play, before any replays, I was wondering if Smith really caught the ball. When he got up, he was bumping his fists together and probably yelling a code word to hurry to the line, which they did. That just shows that the offensive players on the field reacted better than the coaches on the opposite sideline.

Not only that, but Wilson's contract will hinder them as well. He is getting paid Rodgers or Mahomes money and producing at a Carson Wentz level.

Think he’ll last more than 40 days this time?
One can only hope.

Here's my thinking. As I alluded too, there wasn't much interest in wanting him on any team (outside of the Raiders). The talking heads made it a big deal of him wanting to stay in in FLA, and I think that's true with his family living in FLA. He also has connections with one of the Miami Dolphins minority owner. Yet the Dolphins were pretty quick to say they'll not be pursuing him. Losing a draft pick due to tampering will do that to you :)

SF wasn't hungry for him, and what team would be willing to pay him lots of money and only get meager results. As one of the talking heads stated, he's no longer the QB that elevates the team, his ability to put the team on his back and win the game are over.

So now he decided to have one more year of football, and it only cost him his family. So sad.

That's really what I consider dangerous, especially those killed for wearing/not wearing a shirt. There was a son visiting his father, taking him to a game and one of then didn't wear a shirt and refused to wear it. He was killed. Kids beaten, vomited on intentionally and so on. I mean... that's really a low point and Philly fans are by far the frontrunners. I mean, just google it:

and so on.

The problem is really, not only do they pull of that crap, they don't see it and refuse to accept it. Some people learn from mistakes and try to do better. Others don't learn from mistakes and try to do worse.

Look at the Bills Mafia... they're crazy, but they don't walk around and kill/beat up others, leave alone kids who want to watch a game.
We get it. You hate philly.

But these are relatively isolated incidents that never repeated. But keep going.

Now if only Rodgers will retire

Tom Brady retires. Hopefully he says retired. I'm kind of glad too because there was talk about the 49ers picking him up and I hoped that would not happen.

along the lines of two first round draft picks and then some!
I don't see him worth first round draft picks plus his 2023 salary is almost 60 million. That's one huge reason he won't retire now, but its an impediment for many teams. That's a huge amount of money to pay someone

I've read that if he didn't retire he was going to stay in Tampa. I think the Bucs would easily take him back since they don't really have anyone else at quarterback.

But I think it was time and he probably noticed a big drop-off this year or he is having a harder time getting out of bed the morning after a game.

I don't think the bucs are in a good place personnel and coaching wise. It was good for Brady to walk away from them

Hm, stupid... I mean, his last Patriots season didn't go too well. So I can understand he wants to relocate and maybe enjoy a few more games. He did the impossible and won the SB, at that point he should have retired. He played another season and didn't make it to the SB... he retired, then came back. In the end that cost him his marriage and his team did worse than the year before. He failed and that was unnecessary.
