Spot on. That said, apparently the revenue they were receiving from being in Oakland was a pittance and kept them from being competitive ... or so they thought. Turns out they are a poorly run team with an idiot at the helm.
Good shout and, as a
RAIDER fan, I am mostly agreed.
My mistake…and my sympathies. 😆
A competitive Raiders team would be good for fans, and the division, rich in the old AFL history.

Jimmy G is good enough to be a starter, and likely will be next year, for some team other than SF.
The one-year deal to stay with SF this past season means he's completely free to sign where he wants, with no-trade, and no-tag clauses. If that team doesn't have a good O-line, though, beware. He's been a different player since tearing up his knee, and he's not durable enough to survive in the pocket if his reads don't work. Despite being a rookie, Purdy's ability to improvise, as well as his command of the offense, allowed Shanahan to expand his playbook. Hopefully, his elbow won't hinder him in the future, as it would be interesting to see if he develops further, or not, and Midnight strikes.
With other contracts due, SF can't afford Jimmy, for what he'd want to be paid, even as a backup.
