To be fair, these incidents were pretty funny. snowballs/batteries thrown at Santa is pretty funny.Phily - where they threw batteries at Santa Claus.
You're definitely from Philly ...To be fair, these incidents were pretty funny. snowballs/batteries thrown at Santa is pretty funny.
Good shout Brett Favre...Yes. It would be a bad look to un-retire again.
Yeah, I think this is it, in part due to the hit he'd take regarding his reputation. Just look at how bad Brrett Farve looked by his retiring/unretiring. Also, look at his dedication this past season. He took time off before the season, then something along the lines of wednesdays off. He flew to attend a wedding on a Friday. Imo, he wasn't 100% vested in the season.Yes. It would be a bad look to un-retire again.

And they destroyed that robot roaming the US too right?Phily - where they threw batteries at Santa Claus.
I feel sorry for him because his women are all so unattractive ...Yeah, I think this is it, in part due to the hit he'd take regarding his reputation. Also as I mentioned, who would be interested in him? He fell into an excellent situation with the bucs, and was able to bring talent with him. Gronk, AB. Any future un-retirement wouldn't work out like that.
Finally - Time with his family. I can't say this for sure but the talking heads on espn have continually pointed out that he doesn't want to live on the west coast and have his family on the east coast. I can't say for sure but he may want to embrace the whole fatherhood ideal at this stage.
Yep, and it's the most Philly thing to ever happen. And they destroyed that robot roaming the US too right?
Looks like that video is not available to the unwashed massesRodgers to the RAIDERS ...?
Did you click on it?Looks like that video is not available to the unwashed masses
Gotcha. Sorry for the false alarmDid you click on it?
I forgot who said it, or where I saw it, but they were talking about McDaniel's being a strong personality, i.e., running the team his way, ala Bill Belichick and that would fly in the face of Rodgers being so coddled for years.Rodgers to the RAIDERS ...?
He's also a lunatic...I was a big fan of Aaron Rodgers, but have cooled on my enthusiasm in the last few years. He seems to have become more self-centered. Every game, the cameras will capture multiple shots of him rolling his eyes after an incomplete pass. I doubt that he thinks it is always his fault. I never see a shot of him on the sidelines talking to teammates. A real leader would be encouraging guys, and wouldn't have to be full bore "Rah, Rah" to do it.
I'm not excited about the possibility of him coming to us...I forgot who said it, or where I saw it, but they were talking about McDaniel's being a strong personality, i.e., running the team his way, ala Bill Belichick and that would fly in the face of Rodgers being so coddled for years.
LV has the #7 pick overall this year, which is very good, and I correct me if I'm wrong, but GB expects Rodgers to garner at least 2 first round picks.
On one hand, with that team, you suddenly elevate the team to potential super bowl candidate, but on the other hand you sacrifice the future, i.e., maybe getting 2 years from Rodgers (if you're lucky) and no draft picks for 2023, 2024.
Then there's the drama he brings to the team, I'm just not a fan of Rodgers these past few years. He seems like a butt hurt spoiled brat (who's incredibly talented).

It was 20 years ago... https://i.imgflip.com/7a20ny.jpgRodgers has harbored a chip on his shoulder ever since that draft day when he sat at the table alone, as the others were called up to the stage, and he waited until #24. The kookiness only surfaced in the more recent past.
The Raiders haven't had any consistent, demonstrable success, and their last Super Bowl appearance was almost 40 years ago.
They're probably the only franchise that can rival Dallas in thinking so highly of themselves, but at least the Cowboys' SB drought extends to 27 years or so.
And how many sports franchises have abandoned their home city, and treasured fans, not once, but twice, in search ofglorymoney?
Rodgers and the Raiders are made for each other, and should it happen, the potential amount of gossipy talk resulting from that pairing would be spectacular. Who can eye roll the best? Rodgers, the coach, or Mark Davis? How many people can fit under that proverbial bus?

No speculation on what is going to happen to Jimmy Garoppolo?
Did this year's yet another season ending injury mean he's no longer anybody's pick for a starting position somewhere?
