Looks like Alabama fans are angry at the seeding and dropping so far. Yet they failed to take care of business, this could this could have been avoided if they beat OU but they didn't and they only have themselves to blame.

With Oklahoma taking the 8th seed, they really needed to be below them. Just so happens that ND grabbed the 9th seed. Looking at Alabama's two losses, they fell to FSU on week one and as the season progressed we saw how poor the FSU team really was - that was probably one reason why they fell so far in the CFP rankings

Yeah, Alabama fans need to get the hell over it.

I'm also glad Texas is now out of the running - anyone that's been watching us this season knew we weren't playoff material, so now the talking heads can shut up about it.

The carte blanche that Notre Dame is allowed is mind boggling.

The one good thing from the NIL deal is that the SEC might also be held in somewhat less esteemed light... although it might take a while.

Hey... Hey... Hey... We are just like every other team that loses a game or two and expect to still be number one... :)

My thoughts on Lane Kiffin and LSU. The longer this goes on without a Ole Miss contract extension or him out right saying he's staying leads me to think he's already gone - at least emotionally and verbally but he has to wait until after the playoffs to be officially leaving.

Ole Miss' AD and Lane Kiffin are purportedly scheduled to meet today. Rumor has it, that the AD needs clarity on Lane's job. He also wants to share Ole Miss' NIL funding and plan. I think this one of the carrots he may try to use to keep Kiffin more tools to recruit.

Personally, I'd love for him to stay, he's good there and expectations are more laid back, where as in LSU, you have meddling boosters, politicians, and an expectation that he wins a national championship in 3 to 4 years

I think he's gone however, the grass is always greener sort of mentality and the idea have an opportunity of building a championship caliber team is just too much of a siren song for him to escape.

I'd like him to stay there as well and keep building. But I still don't believe he is that* guy.

LSU is very tempting though and they have a winning tradition.
