WE ARE getting Tahoed!
My spleen was injured during kick-off, so im useless, I can't even cheer-lead, ouch!
they have WAY too many all star recruits and those fancy cleats!

WOOOOHOOOO DUCKS! I was worried in the beginning and then we kept shooting ourselves in the foot with major penalties, but I should have had faith! I'm glad that one's over and I'm REALLY happy about the outcome.

that was a good game. I used to be a big SEC fan, but the more Big 10 games I watch the more I like that conference.

I mostly watched the Arkansas vs. Texas game. Probably due to the razorbacks having a terrible team this year, but Manning looked every bit of the QB that he was hyped up to be. I thought the Longhorns defense looked horrible against the pass. They should have tried more passing before the game got out of hand.

My god that score... Poor Syracuse... but at least it wasn't a total blow out... 🙂

I never understood why Umass chose to leave the FCS (Div II) for the GBS (Div I), they have been so horrible since being in FBS and the prospective of them improving is between zero and none.

Edit: Looks like they entertained the idea of joining the FSC after leaving the MAC conference but no FSC conference wanted them, lol

Reasons against UMass
  • Location - UMass is located in Amherst Mass, a 2 hour drive from Boston and western Mass is sparsely populated (compared to the coast)
  • Budget - school doesn't have much money
  • Facilities, including a horrible stadium that is largely empty - those concrete seats don't feel very good in the winter
  • Northeast is not a huge football location, BC is really the only big football program in the northeast.

LSU finally "officially fires" Brian Kelly, without cause. They had threatened to fire him for cause but I think that would have had some negative consequences with their current hiring process, and not having fired him, they couldn't really hire another head coach. So reading between the lines, with egg bowl set for tomorrow, and Lane Kiffin already stating he will announce his decision the following day, its becoming clearer that LSU is clearing the runway so the lane kiffin plane can land at baton rouge.

I have some thoughts on this whole process, but I'll hold on to them until things become more official.

#16 Texas upset #3 Texas A&M
#25 Arizona upset #20 Arizona State 🙁 - DANG! ASU wore those beautiful throwback unies and lost!

The only game I really wanted to watch yesterday and I missed it. The wife and I got distracted on a different tv program and then I fell asleep in my recliner, lol.

I think Manning is finally coming into his own, while it was probably unfair to expect him to be an all star at the start of the season, he does seem to be showing some greatness these past few weeks. Another year at Texas will help him mature and improve.

The coach of Texas is now putting a full court press on, trying to a case that Texas belongs in the playoffs, but Texas has already been locked out of the SEC championship game, and there's no 3 loss team in the top 10 of the rankings

Agreed on both.
 
I watched the Ohio/Buffalo game yesterday, that was a fun game to watch. I largely enjoy watching smaller conference games then SEC/Big10. The sad part was, that I failed to see a single spectator in the stands.
