Haha - not remotely. Patriots fans since the Grogan years.

Just seeing these 'off the ball', late game calls in so many recent games rather than a 'let them play' approach I feel is not helping the game.

Look at this video and it shows how the defenders pushed the WR into the other back. Should have been a no-call TD.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I saw the receiver's arms extend. That's a tell the refs look for. I think it was the correct call.

And the Chiefs are moving to Kansas City, Kansas...?
To me, it seems meh. they're still playing in Kansas City. I wonder how KC fans feel about it. I mean on one hand, Missouri fans won't have their taxes going towards funding a stadium for a billionaire, but on the other hand, arrowhead is iconic.

In 2031... Is this a ploy to get KC, Missouri to build them a dome?
Why not, this worked for Kraft back before gillette stadium. He announced a move to CT and Mass. politicians panicked and caved

It was bad enough when local politicians ignored a good part of their constituents and voted to help make rich people even richer, but then state governments got into the game…

Officiating?

Don't quit your day job?

Finneran did not cave really ... but he did finally agreed to some important, but not extremely costly, infrastructure improvements around Foxborough. Let's not give him too much credit for anything. But for Finneran, the Patriots likely would be playing in a South Boston stadium that would have been a boon to the local economy especially in light of the general weekness in commercial real estate in that area over the last ten years and the associated maasive residential real estate tax increases that have resulted.

Honestly, I don't understand the outrage either. The only people that should care are the people in Missouri and Kansas. Other than that it certainly doesn't matter to me where the Chiefs play.

eeehh...

Teams moving is a sore spot for a lifelong RAIDERS fan such as myself.

In this case, KC, though it's literally just down the road a piece...

Massachusetts didn't 'cave' to Kraft! He was bluffing about Connecticut and everyone knew it. The MA pols only offered him a face-saving sewer extension infrastructure line, but he still ended up needing to pay for the new stadium on the same land he already owned. The state of Connecticut under that governor and that mayor never had a plan to remove the power plant that was there or to clean it up. I think both those pols in CT ended up in legal trouble later on.

Looks like the Steelers have a tenuous hold on the AFC North division with a 2 game lead. Where as the raven's have a rough road to try to unseat the Steelers.

The Ravens are facing the packers this weekend, and its not like the Packers are going to be resting their starters or taking it easy - they have an uneasy grip on the last playoff spot so for all intents and purposes this is a playoff spot for the packers. Both the Packers and Ravens failed to live up to expectations - both teams were in the super bowl discussion at the beginning of the season.

And both will be without their starting QB's? Or has Jackson been cleared to play?

Has love been been cleared?

Just checked espn and both are undetermined as of right now... Love has been to meetings and has been through a walk through... I forgot Willis hurt his shoulder as well...

For those to whom it matters, location is just a byword for tax revenue. KCMO will miss out on that, and officials there should be unhappy, it matter$.

I don't think Jordan Love will play until at least the following week. The backup QB was also injured against the Bears, and is not 100%. Aaron Rodgers is not available, and Brett Favre is too old. I'm not sure who they have on the practice squad, but whoever it is, he will be a downgrade from No. 1 or 2.

Vikings' Kelly to IR after 3rd concussion of 2025, 6th of career

How many concussions is too many? I don't know what Kelly is thinking, but life after football is measured in decades, while your nfl career is brief. Don't mess with your brain - studies show how bad concussions can be, particularly multiple concussions.
I had 3 concussions last one in 1983 via a fallen 2X8" roof rafter form 4 feet ahead.
CAT scan proved negative with no signs of damage or actual brain, win-win!

so yes, "Don't mess with your brain - studies show how bad concussions can be"
or one will type messages like mine 'bout The NFLs!

A fiasco of a game for the Lions...despite having uniforms that weren't as ugly as the Vikings.

Vikings still have a quarterback problem to solve before next season.
