Graem (as it was spelled in the opening)

Jack also seems to pronounce it as "Grame", NOT "Grey-ham". Why was it that when I was watching this was I predicting "Jack's brother will get him back for putting the bag over his head"?
It was just SO predictable that this would change around. What I didn't predict was that Jack's dad was closer to being the moral one. I thought he'd be really evil.

I told my wife, shortly after finding out that Graem was Jack's brother and they were looking for his father, that Graem was really seizing control of the company while maintaining the appearance that Papa Bauer was in charge. Once this deception was revealed I figured that Papa Bauer was going to help Jack in taking Graem down.

I, of course, did not type it here since every time I type a prediction it turns out to be almost always 100% wrong. So of course the one time I don't have proof, I'm right....

I believe you anyway.
The guy walks around with a bluetooth headset, seems either a real-estate agent or some bad ass dude. :p :D

I don't care what you have in your ear, or who you can try to talk into committing suicide, Graem is still an idiot.

Jack has been a pain in his side for years and has shown an almost unprecedented ability to survive when put into tough situations. So Graem catches Jack, has a man with a gun to Jack's head and then lets his minions take Jack away to presumably kill Jack. It's the classic bad guy folly. If 24 really wanted to be revolutionary and force people to talk, Graem should have killed Jack as soon as he took Jack's gun...

But now we get to see Jack kick the minion's arses and go medieval on his brother...

exactly. are there any semi-realistic shows/movies where the bad guy doesn't actually **** up with this type of thing? there's been so many times where someone just should've capped jack. there's no good reason for graem to keep him alive at this point, no bargaining power or anything, so just kill him!

Yeah, the departed (Infernal affairs remake). At the end the bad guy just caps the main character.

But it won't happen until episode 23.

You never know. This far into other seasons we've seen what looked like the main bad guy killed off, only to find out there was another bigger threat that replaced him. Granted, being Jack's brother, he'll probably be around longer to maximize the drama, and it's possible he won't be killed this season at all. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that either his brother or dad will be killed this season, but not both.

This kind of crazy speculation is what makes the show fun, even when it's being ridiculous.

Maybe Jack is the secret mastermind and over the past 6 years he had been gaining the trust of everyone only to take over the world and have Graham be the fall guy.:p

Wow, i wasn't expecting to find spoilers to other movies in this thread. Thanks

Hehe, well. It doesn't change the outcomes of the movie really, just that everyone that had anything to do with the story dies in a matter of minutes. Really anti-climatic.

I don't want to get any more off topic from 24 in this thread, but please stop giving away the ending. first you said the main character dies, now everyone dies. i wish i didn't know any of it, now i seem to know all of it. thanks again.

can we get back to 24?

now THAT would be a great twist!

Anyone know, or care to speculate, if assassin-for-hire Mandy (played by Mia Kirshner) will return to harass Jack and the CTU team? She has not been seen since Day 4, so it's about time for her to return.

Also, a "high price" has been mentioned as what the president paid to secure Jack's release from China. Any guesses as to what that price might have been? I suspect we have not heard the last on that.

I thought she was killed?

no, she was given a presidential pardon at the end of season 4 and wasn't seen last season.

she certainly a possibility to return. after bringing back nina twice, it wouldn't be surprising to have her want to get some more money (since that's all she seemed to have cared about).

So tonight was a huge episode. We are finding out how deep the rabbit hole goes. We know that Graham played a big rule in last season but we also know that Jack's father is the one in charge.

Morris will play a big role next week.

The VP is dirty as well as most of the people in Palmer's admin.

Did I give away to much.

Ummm to be honest I think they're leading us this way but he's not really evil ... he just disagrees. Maybe I'm wrong BUT it seems to obvious the way they were panning to him. I think he's just pissed.

I sort of suspected pops, too close to the flames not to be on fire.

They keep talking about that kid, the kid comes up too much not to be important. I feel like he's jack's kid and jack doesn't know. This also sets up future 24 with the son of jack ... hahaha

I didn't say evil I said dirty. I think most of his staff is out to get him out of office.

You could tell by watching tonight that Pops was in on it and it was only a matter of time before Graham was eliminated. It will be interesting to see what happens to Morris. I wonder if Chloe goes out in the field again.

So we know that Graham was the one behind Tony Michele and Palmer's deaths but that was nothing new. I still think Wayne's sister is involved somehow.

yeah I guess they're the same to me ... but I guess I see the difference that you're trying to illustrate. I just remember last season, they made us believe it was the VP but then BAM LOGAN.
