4.2.1 Greenpois0n

My jailbreak was successful, but loader says "Loading Sources" and then goes to a plain page.

What do I need to next to install Cydia???
Do I just need to wait and the options will appear?

Use redsn0w to install cydia after the greenpois0n jailbreak. Just use redsn0w as usual, but check 'install cydia'. Worked for me.

I mean, you have to have the iPhone on 4.2.1 to JB it with Greenpois0n rc5. If you want to keep your unlock then you need to follow the guide I linked to.

I'm mostly concerned if GP will break MyWi and My3G. Now I know at least MyWi works 🙂

This is happening to me as well. I'm using V2, and it acts like it's going to jailbreak, but then just says, "failed 🙁".
 
i downloaded the greenpoison and its not opening at all. i'm running an intel mbp 10.5. what could be wrong?

Yeah, that's what's happening here, I've tried it 7 times now.. no code or anything starts scrolling on the iPhone screen.. Greenpoison says jailbreaking but when the progress bar reaches the end it just says "failed".. I'm running stock 4.2.1 since it was released..

Add me to this list. I've run this damn thing a dozen times now, and it just will not jailbreak my iPod Touch.

I used the Mac version at that link, successfully (RC 5.2). Have not tried the Windows version, which is currently RC4.
