FYI, Covering Web has just posted Here's How to Fix GreenPois0n RC5 Issues & Bugs.

For my own problem, I'm wondering if it's the fact that I didn't have my iOS device switched off when I tried it?

not sure if this is related to greenpoison or an app I recently downloaded, but is anyone having trouble "logging in" on some websites? I'll log in and it'll bring me back to the same page as though I never hit the "Login" button.

Quick question, I'm currently JB'n (untethered) using redsn0w with the 4.2b3 SHSH blobs. Is there any reason I should be using greenpois0n (Chronic dev team) as opposed to my current JB (iPhone Dev Team)? Is there any advantage with one over the other?

I know, I know, abit of a n00b question ... but the last time I was in the JB scene it was mainly the iPhone Dev Team releasing jailbreak's and therefore the question never arose.

Windows version now released, apparently, although it's not clear whether it's RC5b2 or RC5b3 for Windows.

The site is up for me. Couple of alts for you. Looks like the 2 is for windows, that's what I used and is what is linked to windows on the main site. Also it says "win" in the file name.

How do you know which version you JB with? And what are the differences in them?

successfuly jailbroken ip4 4.2.1 with rc5_b2, cydia installed but everything says resource cant be found..

fixed the cydia issue.. everything working fine!!!

hey guys a bit of a Jailbreaking n00b. I have a recently bought 4.2.1 factory unlocked iphone that i want to jailbreak using the windows version of Greenpois0n. do i need to do anything to preserve the factory unlock baseband? does greenpois0n even touch the basebands?

how can i back it up fully in case something goes horribly wrong?

ive jb my ip4 with greenpois0n but used redsn0w to install cydia..... installing cydia through greenpois0n is the the same version as installing through redsn0w? like greenpois0n hasnt got a more updated version of cydia right?

And the sbsettings toggle removeBG
When I use this it removes all the background apps but my statusbar disappears

It only comes back when I open another app

Is this happening to anybody else ?

They are working on rc6 now. Apple tv bug fix.

Yes, using Tiny Umbrella will allow you to save your baseband as is. This is for iPhone4 only however.

guys if loader doesn't appear after jailbreaking, try searching for it in the universal search bar. The icon didn't appear for me but it did come up in the search and that's how I accessed it and installed cydia.
