As well as AirVideo, BBC iPlayer and Sky Mobile TV don't work either. A bit of a dealbreaker if you like to watch lots of videos.
I think the bugs are time released because now the mail has been crashing my wifi is back, dont get it why did this not happen all day yesterday ?

Yeah, they come in swarms...it's what apple planned. First wifi, then mail crashing, then a flashing Apple logo telling you to buy more...

Just tried VLC. Got the same result.
Ya i'm hoping this is fixed very soon - I like 4.2 a lot but bugs are making me a little angry.
Lol - you joined MR in May 2010 and already have a Demi-God status? Wow.
1 - You or anyone else can join today and get a Demi-God status. It is not indicative of your post count or contribution to thread content. It's merely a sign of financial contribution to this site.
2 - And why would 4.2 BETA 1 make you angry ? Yes it has bugs, it's because it's a BETA designed for developers to test their apps on the latest operating system and not for impatient end users who circumvented the developer program one way or the otherit is not designed or advised to run any beta software on your device if you are relying on that device for 100% compatability & stability. That's what final GM and public releases are for.

Can any of the developers in this thread add my iPad number to their Xcode, and tell me how I can get iOS 4.2. I have Xcode and I do some coding but I'm not going to become a developer until I know what I'm doing better.
Thanks
Honestly, unless you are developing an app you really shouldn't upgrade to beta 1. There are lots of third party apps that have issues with the beta and a few common semi-serious bugs in the OS. It's meant for testing app compatibility not for normal use.
It you do want to try coding you will need the Xcode beta 1 release also. Becoming a developer is only $99, so it you do want to develop apps it's worth the investment.
1. Even if oragami slideshow is selected in picture frame settings, dissolve is used
2. iStudiez Pro crashes on launch, BIG let down for me!
Anyone want to venture a guess as to when we'll see Beta 2?
