So 700 euro for Galaxy 6S with 32GB
So 800 euro for Galaxy 6S with 64GB?

That's pretty close to iPhone 6s 64GB at 850 euro
Yeah, but the point is that people want a 32GB base model because 16GB is too little and 64GB too much. No one is complaining about the existence of the 64GB model, people are (rightfully so) complaing about the absence of a 32GB model for a fair price.

64GB iPhone price is not a problem.
16GB iPhone price is a problem.

S6 doesn't even have a 16GB model.

Given you have no idea what that data represents, stop quoting it. Your making silly assumptions and telling others are wrong cause apple has lot of data. Yet have no idea what that is.

Using your data theory, that more data represents better decisions.....geez Google kicks butt.... Wrong....

Do you have any proof at all what the quality of apple's analytics department is? If not, stop making up facts...please.

I know Apple's analytics department is better than the one person shops posting on this thread.

The market will decide ultimately if 16GB is horrible......by the way 16GB 6s and 6s+ is all sold out.

But what about Samsung customers who only need 16GB?
Could I argue they wish Samsung made a 16GB model since they only need 16GB not 32GB?
And if they did the 16GB would be cheaper than the 32GB.

So one man/woman represents the general sentiment of 400,000,000 iPhone users?

You sir are the status quo.......

Let me remind you of why so many of us bought into apple... Remember this...

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

I lol'd when I saw the 16GB baseline. Reminded me of when my wife said.. "what's this message mean.. no storage available".. This is essentially Apple banking on its brand loyalty and ease of adoption. People will buy the the 16gb model, then upgrade 6 months later when they run out of storage. Most people need to learn the hard way and Apple can ride these people all the way to the bank..

What's ******* crazy to me is the mi·nute price difference between the 16gb and the 128gb. If I was in Apple sales.. I would be selling 128gb's all day long.. no question.

What does this have to do with 16GB?

And if you think Apple of 1997 is the same as today you are greatly mistaken.

Apple has grown up since then, and maybe you should too.

On the $0 down plans its only $8 more for the 128GB vs 16GB.
And $4 more for the 64GB vs 16GB.

It means you will support the status quo, blindly support apples every decision . And evidenced here.

and it's the ones that question the status quo that take us forward.

And here we have individuals questioning the 16GB 6S....and you defending the status quo....make sense?

I find the quote very appropriate , I assume you know who said that?

All one has to do is place some of their music/photos in the cloud, and not have to upgrade. Your lack of knowledge makes it laughable, and your bold post above makes no sense.

I'm not blindly supporting Apple's decision to keep 16GB.

I have facts supporting me.

All 16GB models are SOLD OUT. Clearly showing their is strong demand for 16GB phones.

So in your opinion what would NOT be status quo? Questioning every single move Apple makes? Would including 32GB not be status quo? Which it kind is since Samsung/LG offers 32GB.

And how do you know I support all Apple's decisions? The only decisions I've commented on was 16GB and not including 4k on the AppleTV.

I didn't like iClouds pricing structure. Its better now, but still not good enough IMO.
I wish the AppleTV came with a more gaming style controller.
I don't like Apple not releasing iPad Air3 this year.
Do I need to go on?

Right, I agree if people know how to use cloud storage.. some will. Most iPhone users don't like the idea of paying for cloud storage.. but some ultimately will. If you fill your 5gb apple cloud storage you get incessantly prompted that your'e out of storage for your backups (which is precisely what my wife's comment was regarding). We could quickly see that it would be a problem going forward because explaining general technology to a lot of people is like learning a new language and who has the time for that when you do it everyday.. all day. It was much easier to upgrade to a larger size and turn off cloud backups than having my wife get prompted about limited size every couple weeks. Hope that makes sense to you.

You make me laugh if you don't think it is absolutely calculated by apple that people WILL get frustrated with 16GB, and upgrade to another phone. Why else would they sell it....more sales and profit right? That is all we should care about right?

How the hell does iCloud help you on a vacation out of cell range, or you don't have your laptop, or are out of data? It just takes one vacation trip with a few minutes of video to fill up your phone, and you'll realize you made a mistake. I guarantee there are many buying 16GB you don't understand the impact of the larger video sizes. They WILL buy new phones.

I conclude that an iPhone selling out for launch keeps polar bears away.... It's Great Analysis, cause I know Apple iPhones always sell out...for launch!

keep the status quo alive.

FYI, the 128GB units sold out first .....

best of luck defending the 16gb.

So if your wives phone crashes or gets lost she losses all her photo's?

You know she is going to blame you for not telling her about iCloud right?

A 32GB phone won't help you either if you take a ton of video on vacation.

My wife used 90GB the last time we went to europe. That sounds like alot but it isn't. With 4k video thats only a couple hours of video.

You might be right that some may turn in their 16GB phones and upgrade. Thankful right now its easier than ever to do this since many plans allow you to switch phones multiple times without penalty. So no big deal.

Tell me what going against the status quo would mean as far as tier prices and storage.

It wouldn't help to have twice as much space?

Ill get blamed yes. We back it up to her PC occasionally, but that reminds me.. its time for another backup, lol. And, she doesn't want to pay for it and she feels like she's being had about having to pay for it.. I know I know.. its the life I live with.

Oh look, another review. Best phone ever made..... only one bad thing to say:

As long as you stay clear of the 16GB entry models on both, which seems far too small a storage bay for what you'll end up chucking at it, you're sure to have a party.

Seems to be a common trend.

And another review:

Absolutely, do not buy the 16GB iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. They offer too little storage and will leave you constantly policing your device for media and apps you can delete. You want some space you can grow into.

for 99 cents? wow.

Any review from a tech site will say this. They are tech nerds, what do you expect?

No it won't. Since in both cases you will run out of space.

An extra 16GB for video is nothing. That gets you maybe 30 minutes of 4k footage.

That is a hell of alot more man.... dare I say twice as much! Keep that mantra going though....you know 2TB of space wouldn't be enough. You'd eventually run out as well, right?

And another review:

I strongly recommend against the 16-gigabyte model, largely because Live Photos are twice the size of a normal photo.
