Nothing like covering all of your bases. I'm a big fan of the rumor mill here, but this is starting to get a little ridiculous.

So basically nobody knows what the next iPhone will look like and are throwing things at the wall to see what sticks.

I can just imagine Jony Ive in a video explaining how Apple have been inspired by bananas to create the most beautiful curves that aren't as curvy as some other curves.

If there's any curve whatsoever I'm getting a 7s. Screen quality is already fantastic on these LCDs, with great color reproduction. I could care less about the screen's OLED black level if the edges warp content the way they do on Samsung phones.

Curve can be good, but the S7E is too much IMO. I find typing on it to be a pain, and it's hard to not accidentally input on the display. A little less would be great.

I think edge features like Edge Apps or whatever are useless.

"what actually IS a curve"?
Assuming you are serious, I have the same question. Is it the whole screen, or just the edge. The iPhone 6, 6s, and 7 already have a little bit of a rounded edge to the glass.
I'd be more happy if apple comes back to glass flat, like on the iPad and old iPhone.
I would like this also. Plus, it would make it easier to pick up the phone with damp hands.
Not going back to a smaller screen-------------
I will, I am sick of my 6s Plus size. If I could get almost the same screen size in a smaller form, that would be awesome. Actually, I think I would rather go back to a 4" version before getting another Plus size.

OMG! I hate curved screens. Completely useless. Curves are gimmicks. Leave that junk to Samsung.

"Psssst. Just so you know, iPhones have had curved screens since the iPhone 6. The upcoming iPhone could have the exact same curvature. Thus, curved screen."

Well... that's just... I mean...
/looks at iPhone
/see gentle curvature

At least this phone doesn't explode... and kill children. Besides, Apple may not have been first, but they did curves the right way.

Who's cares. It'll be $1299. (but really I'd want it, but can't even spend $650...)

Considering the 4.7" and 5.5" models will still have LCD display, I'll probably hold on to my 7 for another year until all iPhone models have OLED displays.

The report cites a source that said Apple "would not be using OLED optimally" if it opted for a flat display like existing iPhone models, but it cautioned that the design has not been finalized and could still change.
now this is stupid - you are telling me that Apple doesn't know what they are shipping yet? I bet you Apple its already knew deep on next year's model.

Apparently even Apple if you believe this story (I don't):

If it's not going to curve all the way to the back of the phone I don't care for it. It will just make the phone even more slippery.

I have an S7 edge (in addition to my iPhone 7 Plus) and the "edge" is nothing but annoying. When typing or holding the phone, my palm constantly hits the edge of the display and triggers something I don't want.
