5870 Order Status Thread (Update as yours changes) ***UPDATED***

Well... I had lost hope on the 5870, so last week I ordered the 5770 and received it.
I called Apple just now. I'm returning the 5770 and placed an order for the 5870.

My mistake, I was looking at the 6870. I really hate AMDs naming system.
 
Just got shipment notification.

FYI - I did not cancel my original order with a Dec ship date.

I got so frustrated with them that I started yelling, something I almost never do on the phone. They wouldn't cancel, but they told me I could ship it back on Dec. 23 if I wanted. I was like, "Are you kidding?"

Anyways I guess it does say "Prepared for Shipment," so hopefully it ships out soon.

Lol, it's funny you say that I started screaming like a maniac on the phone. I was just so tired of being transferred from department to department. Let's hope for the best... It's just so sad to see how Apple's once great customer service has gone down the tubes :mad:

I was hoping for tomorrow since I picked overnight. I guess I should be happy it has shipped.

They connected to a call center with people with thick Indian accents, but they kept telling me to repeat things and I was spelling crap out phonetically and they didn't understand me. Was also a pain to understand them and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told they had one supervisor for like 60,000 of them or something like that.

Finally gave up and hung up, called sales who transferred me to customer service in the States. Spoke to two nice agents who explained that my order was shipping today.
 
Ordered this morning. Just got shipping email with expected delivery date of 11/17.

Wow :eek:, mines been prepped for shipment since yesterday and still hasn't shipped and according to apple it will on December 22nd although something sounds messed up with that date cuz I doubt they prep at item for shipment a month in advance.... At least I hope. Please post when your order does ship so I can see if they really did goof my order

Mine card will be here today. I ordered yesterday and selected regular delivery. Originally estimated to deliver 12/30 then bumped to 11/16, this morning it's on the FedEx for delivery. I placed my order yesterday morning lol. All this change in less than 24hrs.
 
Mine is shipping out of Nashville like most Apple items I order. It' already in transit and still on schedule for Monday morning delivery.
