See, a chick rolls up in here, kicks down the MacRumors door, and pulls a ROADHOUSE on all the babies in here complaining the phone is too big.

Seriously, this chick likes it big and is not afraid to admit it. Wink.

The next time a human that is a self-described "man" comes in here complaining the iPhone 6 Plus is too big, show him the exit to Baby Man land.. it's right next to Cry Baby City and 22 miles down the highway to I Wear a Jock Strap Under My Skirt-ville.

No one said there weren't large women too :p

When you are used to handling 8.5" from time to time, handling an iPhone 6+ is not a hard task. I find it fits in my hands just fine- but I have big hands as I'm 6'1 215lbs and do have above average sized hands. I think the iPhone 6+ is suited for bigger men and the iPhone 6 for girls and small, underdeveloped men.

To each his own. Some people like to drive Smart Cars some people like to drive full sized vehicles that don't look like baby shoes.

----------

This could be the dumbest thing I have ever read in the history of the internet. Humanity just shed a tear today.

Well I guess I'm just a girl who likes to hold bigger things in her hands,as I love the 6+#

I received my 6+ today and I fell in love with it right out of the box! I'm a petite woman with small hands and my first thought was " this is not massive like everyone is claiming". Can't explain it really, it just feels good in my hands.

The best new feature of the iPhone is the new screen. Feels like touching a magazine!

I saw it at the store. Its not bad at all.

One word "Reachability".

I am 5'10" and have been using it most of the night one handed. Granted not for typing post or anything but then again I always typed in landscape on my iP4 and iP5.

----------

Well, if it is too much for you stick with the 4.7" or 5S. Meanwhile, I will enjoy my new iP6+ that I've been using most of the afternoon and evening with out any complaint. Have a nice day.

My point was that the 6 plus isn't the same size as the Note 3, it's .22 inches longer. Has nothing to do whether the 6 plus is too much for me or too much for you or too much to anyone.

The 6 plus ISN'T similar size to the Note 3.

I dont get what the deal is with the iPhone 6 shaming around here...6 or 6+ its all personal preference. I am a 5 foot 2 female with tiny child-like hands but prefer the 6+'s luscious screen. Great for when I want to watch a football or hockey game on the go. That was a lot less convenient on the 5's 4 inch screen.

It's not too big I just think the proportions are off. The Note 3 has perfect length relative to height. 6+ is too tall & thin for me.

I feel like a lot of apps will be redesigning things so commonly clicked buttons will be on the bottom of the screen instead of the top. Right now my thumb is just a little too short to get to the top left corner while holding with my right hand.

Guys, what's going on over here? I hope I'm just missing the satire... I hope the 6+ doesn't become some kind of symbol for REAL men or folks just buy the 6+ because they think bigger is better???!!!

I'm quite the opposite of a small guy at nearly 2meters height and use a 17" MBP and the full-size iPad, but there are quite some sensible practicality reasons for a lot of folks to just get the 4,7" iPhone!

I need to still be able to comfortably carry my phone with me in my pockets, without being afraid that it will accidentally fall out of my shirt/pants because of its enormous size. As a guy, try to have your iPhone 6+ in your jeans and tie your shoes... It's uncomfortable as hell!!!!!!

Actually I believe the 6+ is a good choice for women because they have a purse to carry it in...

Let's not forget that a iphone is not only a pocket computer but also a MOBILE device and therefore bigger is not always better... Anyway, Enjoy your 6+

Umm unless I am missing something the iPhone 6+ doesn't have a 5.7" screen. That would be the GN3 and 4. The point of my post was the devices physical dimensions, not screen size.

Ugh yeah I totally mistyped the whole thing. Sorry.

I think a lot of people are in here to justify their purchase/decision. With some satire, yes ;)

I for one am thinking now, should I have gone with the Plus? maybe it's not that much bigger and the battery life, and, and. We all want to feel like we made the right choice and not being able to hold them beforehand, makes us nervous that we made the wrong one.

My iPhone 6, 4.7" is beautiful and I think I will be a happy chappy walking around with it and using it. You guys with 6 Pluses will have a beautiful iPhone as well.

This one seems like the perfect size for me...:apple::cool:

Congratz to all of us that have a shiny new iPhone 6/6+ We are all the lucky ones! :)

OMG, the choice! What are you going to do?? Why is Apple being so nasty?? You actually have to DECIDE something? Two different sizes? Why, oh, why!!!!!

Seriously people, some people like the bigger one, some the smaller one. It's ok, really.

Let look at this in a different angle. instead of 6+ is too big, why don't u ask "is iphone 6 too small?". I can't believe I have been using tiny iphone 5 last two years.

I did not know iphone 5 is too small until I use 6+.

remember your data usage will grow over time. hence screen size will grow to accommodate this data growth, as we grew from iphone 4 3.5" to now.

Yes!

I bought the plus and the 6 and was planning to mess around with both for a week and return one. After 3 hours i knew the plus wouldn't work for me. It's too massive and not practical for me. Even swiping to answer calls with one hand was a problem. That's not good!

I found the size often he 6 perfect and it's a much better match for me... Not to say that it isn't perfect for many other guys and gals out there. So happy the decision became a no brainier for me.

I received my regular 6 today.

I had been longing for the Plus all week and regretted the 6.

However, I think I should stick with the 6. Even the 6 feels big in my pocket with the sleeve I put it in. Furthermore, I was doing some car work and taking it out, to take pictures and whatnot, was more cumbersome than with the 5S.

Therefore, I can only imagine the 6 Plus would be more so. I think the 6 Plus would be great to use indoors at your home or your office.

If you are going to be out and about snapping pictures, pulling it in/out of your pocket (gentleman) or purse (ladies) a lot, I think the 6 is the max. Again, some will find a way to carry the 6 Plus, but I think for me it would be a challenge.

I wouldn't mind a 6 Plus as an extra for travel instead of an iPad for example, but I can't have it as my main phone I don't think, and I'm not too eager to get another line and pay more fees each month.

Nobody is going to return it, they won't be able to. What planet are you from? That's the reason there will be complaints...because nobody wants that flat brick attached to their ear for the next 2 years.

I personally think people look ridiculous with ANY mobile stuck to the side of their head blabbing away like they're making the deal of a lifetime. I really wish they'd stop walking around and talking on their phones regardless of what size there phone is.

Thanks. It's a thread about the 6+ being too large.

And nice use of copyrighted image Luddite.

I may be in the minority but I rarely use my mobile as a phone. I look forward to more easily writing documents, reading books, managing compute. I also don't pkan to walk around yakking on it. Distracted living.

Remember when westerners thought texting was weird? It took off in Asia long before it became accepted here. As did larger phones. Slowly, people will realize that mobiles are much more capable than just voice. Until then, stick with your soup cans.

I got my 6 neutral in the mail today, went to att after work to look at their cases (and to handle the 6+). That's one big MF'er! They had only 6+ 128gb gold units left, and all three sold in the 5 minutes I was there. It looks sweet, but not practical for me and my tight jeans. I think it would cut off flow to my iliac artery if I sat down.
