Corporal punishment is the way to go I think, that and all money in his future college fund use to pay the damages.

What's disgusting is how this little pig wasted police and paramedics precious time by lying. Flame this kid now.

You're really think a 6 year old understands that? I'm sorry but he is to young to understand the financial significance of what he did. Yes, the time, money, and resources were most definitely wasted. But the child cannot be blamed. The parents however can. They were incredibly irresponsible leaving something like that so loosely secured when they have such small children.

You guys seem to be missing the key point here which is that Falcon was following his parents' instructions. Watching the father try to pretend his kid didn't just rat him out was priceless. Publicity stunt at the expense of taxpayer dollars.

Falcon: "You guys said we did this for the show."

Douchebag: "Yeah..."

Mom: "No..."

Douchebag: "You didn't, um, come out?"

I agree he's too young to understand the financials, but seriously you see freaking cops and media outside and the kid thinks its funny watching his neighbors, friends, family flipping out to figure out where he is. Seriously? At 6 you should know wrong and right, I'm sorry.

I think the boy needs to be punished, however, it should be an appropriate punishment for a 6 year old boy.

I think the parents should get in trouble. In the video above he says "It was for the show." The kid was doing what his parents told him. He doesnt know better. I think the parents should have to pay for this. Helicopters flying around, all the rescue officials and so on. Fuel aint free last time I checked.

not disagreeing with you there. But you can't blame the kid for the amount of money spent. The kid didn't get out of his bed and go "hmm....how can I waste as much tax payers dollars as possible" lol

You're right, of course. He should be thrown in jail for several years and then be executed by firing squad. What was I thinking?

Probably one of those schemes that looked better on paper, but as soon as that thing landed I was watching CNN and a whole load of police/media were swarming his neighborhood, if I was six I would go out then.

what idiot parents. they need to pay all the money it took to try and "rescue"

its even worse that this happened in my home town who will be paying most of this

Actually they should go to jail. I'm sure there are many accounts of offenses that they can be charged for. It's equivalent of calling a false 911 purposely as a joke. Except this has been taken to the extreme. Theoretically, if there was someone really in trouble, all those responders busy with this hoax could have left someone else for dead. Heck, maybe they have...considering this took hours and many personell.

I agree. The parents are unfit to be parents imo

They need to go to jail. COMPLETELY INEXCUSABLE

I cant state how mad I am about this as this took place in my HOME TOWN

They jailed an attention starved woman that claimed her car brakes stopped working, a couple of years ago, after she sent them scattering to clear roads, stop traffic and route her to an airport runway or something. I think this was in Wisconsin? She was almost let off the hook: insanity plea.

I hope they expose these tools. It ticks me off when people take advantage of the media's penchant for drama, when there is so much more important/vital issues that should dominate the media and our interest.

From the mouths of babes…
"We did this for the show."
:D
If it is proven it was a publicity stunt then they should forfeit any income derived from it.

*silly people*

And to all those baying for the six year old's blood… get real.
You never screwed up whem young?
I certainly did. Only difference being my parents didn't call up TV networks to publicise it.
