Dude, your making me want to face palm in head. One type of networking connection or interface (hardware) IS "related" to a different type of networking in this case "wireless". Also gigabit Ethernet hard wired is miles ahead of AC wifi. People do use physical medium for networking.

How would "people not benefit" from plugging in a cat 6 cable at gigabit speeds? Just because a wireless device says "AC" that does not equate to meaning fast. Wireless anything depends on many variables to even get close to advertised speeds.

I'm not trying to be a D but you were using it as examples of what Apple is using it's time doing (sarcastically) and you mentioned 10/100 ethernet and wireless AC. I would say 90% of people with Apple TV's use it wirelessly so the AC is an advantage. Very few people would benefit from 10/1000 Ethernet. And they are not related because one is wireless and one is wired!

I thought the yellow thing is over. But mine is yellow! I compared it to my 6 and 6 plus and it is yellow.

Any of you have the same issues?

I will return it at T-Mobile

I have yellow tint but it's not that yellow. It's very much acceptable and when you read something on white background then yellow tint is easy on eyes. The yellow tint I have is completely acceptable.

Extremely happy here. Got a new 6S today and it has the best cool tinted screen I've seen on an iPhone since 2010 iPhone 4 on launch.

They exist everyone. Good luck.

LG has the worst quality control on their screens, maybe thats why Apple has been using Japan Display as well.
No 2 screens are the same. While most are just slightly off. If you go into the Apple store you'll see the variance.

I like both warm and cool displays, so I'm happy which ever I end up with.
If I HAD to choose, I'd go with warm.

I find the warm have nicer reds and yellows and with the cool the whites are 'whiter'.

Hi,

I got my iPhone 6S, White/Silver, 64GB today. There is a blue tint on both sides of the phone. Is this present for all phones? Also, will this be solved by a future OS update? I hope it is not a hardware issue, though it pretty much looks like it.

I read about this issue on the 6S Plus, but not for the 6S. Hoping for a solution soon.

Mine's the coolest/bluest since my i4 too. The rest have been warm.

My 6s+ is warmer than my 6+ was for sure, but I've had warmer 6s+ the previous phone and less bright, and my 6+ is sold. it was almost too blue compared to a bunch of S screens.

and yellow blotches in upper left on first two 6s+ :(

compared to my cool and pristine air2 that I will have for the extreme long haul probably (2 years+ for my upgrade cycle) , my current 6s+ is definitely warmer, but less warm than my rMB and not dingy. its just jarring going between all three devices so I like to keep iOS cool and get acclimated to warm OS X :)

its uniform though, and I'm a jailbreaker, so I've installed Color Profiles and cooled things off a bit.

The genius bar swap game is hell! Luckily, if I get the 7 (prolly will), I'm paying out of pocket so I'm swapping (retail exchange) til I get what I want, we're lucky jailbreak arrived early this time around.

this 6s+ I got on contract, and at&t inventory is lousy a week and change out none of my local stores got more than a few at launch and their online orders were taking too long.

tl;dr this is all perhaps a useless rambling of my screen temperatures haha.

I've used color profiles before, curious about the way you have it set up. I used to just move the slider to the left to make it cooler, but on my last phone i actually selected the blue profile and moved the slider almost all the way to the left (instead of using the general slider). How do you have it set up?

the main thing i dont like is that the yellowish ones are much less crystal clear and bright... if i compare my lock screen to the one of my 6 the 6s looks blurred compared to the crystal clear fonts on the 6...

I saw YouTube video about how to fix yellow tint for iPhone 4s. The method was an app in cydia which gives lot of screen profiles. Like blue pink cyan etc etc...which makes me think that yellow tint is not an hardware issue. It's just how Apple set screen like that. It may help reserves battery somewhat since it has smaller batter than iPhone 6 but that's just my theory. But now I m certain that the yellow tint is the software setting.

I remember installing that app. Can't think of the name, though.

My 6+ has a cool blue display which is what I prefer. I'm hoping my 6S Plus has the same display. My iPhone 6 had a warm display that I didn't care for all that much.

My 6S+ is way cooler than my i5 and 6+. It's a bit too cool actually. The MR site looks completely blue. Where there is white it looks light blue. I actually hate predominantly blue sites now because it's the only colour I end up seeing, everything is a varying tint of blue.

I noticed that as well when I'm viewing MR on 6+. MR looks more natural to me when I'm viewing it on my iPad Air due to the white tone display. I wish there was a way to change the color tone of the display other than having to jailbreak.

I compared 5 different idevices and they all have yellow tint. I guess yellow tint is norm now with Apple.

Isn't the yellow tint due to the glue not being dry yet? Just give it a couple days, should go away.
No. It is not. That is an old, old, old rumor. Time and time again people have waited for "the glue to dry" with no happiness in the end.

I knew it would only be a few hours before the OCD crowd got out their magnifying glasses and microscopes, and then started shouting from the rooftops.

For a thousand dollar purchase, I'm quite content being particular about the quality of the screen. Why in the world would I want to pay that much for what is supposed to be white, to be yellow instead. Would you wear a slightly yellow shirt with your tux, when what you wanted to wear was a crisp white shirt? I think not. Would you drive a slightly yellow car if what you ordered was a white car?

I agree, though my 6s Plus screen did get a lot whiter after a few days of ownership, compared to my 5s.

I promised a picture of my vivid unlocked 128 G Rose Gold iPhone 6s Plus. I've owned iPhones since the 3GS and had yellow tint on almost all of them ( and did the exchange until I got one that I was happy with) but this one is prestine out of the box.

Look at the colors and the whites. My husband and moms iPhone have the yellow tint on their phones and they are amazed at the quality of my screen. So they do exist people!!!!!!
