Right. And I can find a bunch of people who have problems with space aliens flying around their back yard as well. People love to create issues where issues don't exist, or blame others for what's not their blame.
But there are people who can have actual real issues that others aren't experiencing, right?

Did the 4th generation iPad and the iPad mini shipped with iOS 6.1? If not, then I don't find a reason to believe that iOS 7.1 will come along the new iPads.

they shipped with iOS 6 but there was a iOS 6.0.1 update the actual day of the iPad release.

apple must be either a) still working on fixes for the update b) testing the fixes to make certain they really are fixed or c) including the fixes in iOS 7.1 update for the new iPad devices meaning we are skipping iOS 7.0.3 release all together

There answer must be yes, no, or maybe.

If you read this carefully you may have noticed that some of those folks are system administrators dealing with total random occurrences of the stuff I'm dealing with. They have hundreds of users and then one or two where the same exact settings don't work and push mail just constantly crashes. Obviously, there are error logs of that as well. Going to check those tonight on my phone. And it also appears as if Apple recognizes these issues but simply doesn't have a solution.

iMessage just stopped working again on mine. I'm ready to hurl the effing thing in the river.

No. That can't be. I'm an idiot. Have too much time on my hand to "create issues". Probably paid by Blackberry (with imaginary money, just like the government does). And I have no technical understanding (unlike all the "geniuses" that I have talked to so far...). Go away. Apple rulez and that's that.

iMessage is working for everyone else. Sorry I have to blame you or your network conditions

According to the ITunes Program on Windows 8.1 RTM (I got it from Microsoft TechNet Subscriber Downloads) on my computer it's due out on October 17th, 2013! Just FYI!

----------

Where are you getting this from? Updates have come on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and I believe even Fridays. There might be less on some days (like perhaps Fridays or Thursdays) than others (like Monday or Tuesdays), but not much seems to point to Wednesdays being really much more common or usual.

Although most Beta Updates come out on a Monday or Tuesday, most GM Builds usually come out on Wednesday.

Since when would anything from MS TechNet tell you the release date of an Apple mobile operating system?

If you are referring to the next check for updates date in iTunes, that is irrelevant to when updates are actually released.

Most updates are actually on Monday or Tuesday. Could be any day, though.

That may be true for Beta Updates, But for GM Updates they usually come out on Wednesday's.

I am talking about the ITunes Check for Updates Feature in ITunes 11.1.1 which is installed on my Windows 8.1 RTM Installation (which I got from Microsoft Tech Net Subscriber Downloads).

You mean the check that sets a timer after the last check that has nothing to do with when the next update is released?

All of my Apple IOS Devices are pointing to the 17th regarding what you call that Pointless Check. Even my Brand New IPhone 5S!

Of course it is. And like has been posted about a million times on this forum over the years, that update check date has nothing to do with a release date of an iOS update.

It is not a pointless check it is just a pointless date. That date only corresponds to when the next check will be done by the system. On mine it generally sets itself about 7 days from when the last check was done. All it predicts is when your particular iTunes application will do the next check. Sunday when I got on my server it said 10/13/2013 and it checked and updated then, now it says 10/20/2103. This has been this way in iTunes since about ios 4 or 5 that I remember and maybe longer.

Let me REPEAT myself, my IPhone 5 is pointing to the 17th, my IPhone 5S is pointing to the 17th, my IPad Mini is pointing to the 17th, and my 5th Generation IPod Touch points to the 17th.

Where are they pointing to it on the devices? They are not that is the one time the system checks and updates the iTunes. It doesn't do them for each individual device, checks all device Ipsw software for updates at once.

That means nothing. I received my iPhone 5S this morning. I've had it about 12 hours now... This is the check date in iTunes...

As I stated earlier generally it is a one week time frame for update checks and your date coincides with that.

And your point? The update check downloads a single xml file with all the version info. Please read these forums. It has been debunked at least a thousand times and the date is specific only to your PC.
