I really don’t need new emojis. I want my battery life back. Simple.

Hey guys, can you believe some people think Apple can only either fix bugs OR make new emojis?? Scary, I know, but some people just can't think logically.
So what’s the excuse for NOT working on the Mac Mini nor the Mac Pro for sooooooooooooooooooooo many years.

Competing priorities - someone said the MBP and iMac were more important computers, so others suffer.

To think that bringing out emojis non-stop, while other things suffer, has zero implications, is really being naive.

The entire world probably uses less than 50 on average. Stop the nonsense

You do realize, that while it's true that most people use a small subset of all emojis regularly, that it's a DIFFERENT subset for different people, right?
Stop the ignoramuses.

At what point is it enough? Seriously how many more emojis do we need? Jeez

Golly. So exciting. Meanwhile, Microsoft et.al. are catching up with Tim. I believe the only edge Apple still has is the Watch. Oh yeah, and emojis.

Anyone else notice that MacRumors lately has been hard-pressed to find anything exciting to talk about with regard to Apple?

This is just getting out of hand. SEVENTY new emojis? Apple needs to build a new emoji picker.

Better yet, replace them all with a simpler set. I think Apple has already found the solution to the growing emoji problem: Animoji. The TrueDepth camera can determine your real expression and let you apply it to a character. That would reduce hundreds of emoji down to several dozen.

Maybe let you customize a palette of your favourite emoji like you can do when setting up Memoji. Only your most used would appear upfront, all others could be searched for through a search bar and as suggestions when typing.

I'd love to know why Apple still doesn't support the United Nations flag emoji?
It was added to Emoji 4 in 2016 and is supported by almost all other companies, but not Apple and Microsoft.
I think people would use that more often than the 7th salad or cupcake emoji

It will never end until every conceivable object and person in the known universe is represented with every possible emotion.

Also, there’s already an infinity symbol in Unicode; it’s U+221E (∞). Why do we need an Emoji version?

Conspiracy? Apple doesn’t believe in world governance?
