It means they can't discuss who should vote failure if there is more than 1 of them on a mission, so they either all vote failure or they risk the mission succeeding by voting success and hoping their friends on the mission will vote failure. The outcome of the mission will ultimately be the deciding factor on if we should use the "spy" card right away or save it. Like @Don't panic suggested, if the mission succeeds then there's not really any need to use it. However, if the mission fails then we have a chance to catch an infiltrator right away if we choose the right person to spy on. Like you said @twietee, knowing that the spy plot is in play could be a deterrent. It's comforting to me knowing that the infiltrators can't PM each other like the WW's can. I think it gives us somewhat better odds to catch them since they can't solidify their strategy amongst themselves. There's at least more of a chance that they could make a mistake.
yes, i think soravenvii, a plot like No Confidence can be played by QoS during the next mission even when she's not on a team, right?
i think we should look at the spy as an "offensive" weapon.
it can catch an Infi, but it cannot really clear an agent
yes, i think so
funny we posted about the No confidence at the same time![]()
yes i have noticed that too. very annoyingWhere is your part though? You talked about the Spy. :?
edit: ninja'd - strange format! there may be other, older posts although you see multiple newer ones on the screen (Fenris', mine..) already!!
the no confidence plot is interesting.
it seems to me most damaging in Infi's hands. for example, if QoS is an Infi, and next time we get to 4 nay's, she can play it and it is game over
Pretty much this. I was thinking that mscriv, in case mission goes wrong, spies on s.o., doesn't reveal neither his target nor result, waits for the list to be prestented by e.g. astroboy (to gather some little info eventually) and afterwards presents his case. Whether we trust him or not doesn't matter but if he said he spotted a naysayer there's still the chance to deny the list or possibly cancel it halfway in (via QoS), although the latter should be plan b at most.
Good point! We should keep that in mind and make two nay'd mission in a row the limit I guess (except other, more pressing issues interene).
Don't worry, I picked the perfect team. It will succeed.i wouldn't be against QoS shooting this mission down right away

he would have to say who he spies on publicly. only the result is a PM

You declare your intention to use a plot, and on who (if applicable) in the thread. And I will post or PM the results, depending on the plot (here, the Spy plot's results will be posted publicly, while the Eavesdrop's result will be PM'd to Moyank24 privately).
even better!I think you both are a little confused about how the Spy plot works. Per @ravenvii in post #202 I must make my choice publicly and he will announce the results publicly.
even better!![]()

what's up? i thought it was going to be resolved lthis morning?
Get out of there while you still can!mission is still on going.
vault was heavily defended.
there might have been a leak on our side.
we are trying to shoot our way out but it's questionable we can bring out the box.
after reading this, you need to eat your screen
