Yep, just talked to them as well. They are issuing a refund for the AppleCare right away now, and will send me a return label for the laptop so when I get it, I will ship it off for a full refund. I will also monitor my CC to see of the AC refunded itself back. Will have to wait for the laptop sadly due to them not canceling the order like I asked.
Oh, and so far, Helen has been of no help with the situation.

I ordered a hard drive from this business via
Amazon.com. Then Adorama cancelled the order stating there was a "glitch" in the advertised price. I can't call this bait and switch as they didn't even offer to sell me another one at the corrected price. I guess it was bait and disavow any responsibility to honor the advertised price.
I contacted them about my disappointment and then they sent me a series of e-mails that pretty "parroted" their insincere apologies. Just reading the rest of their reviews here confirms their multiple 1 star ratings. Evidently what they lack in ethics they make up in the number of customers they can sucker in. I had a hard time even clicking a one star rating.
From what I'm reading online is that their business practices and ethics are awful. I feel sorry for their employees that have to make excuses for their awful customer service and screw the customer policies.
Don't buy from this company even if Amazon is the intermediary. In the end you will be disappointed
Luckily Amazon made it right. So I have nothing to say but positive things about
Amazon.com. I hope they ban hammer this company.

Dear Helen O. quoting legalize and blaming the customer for not knowing better about the listed price shows why people should avoid ordering from your company.
Need I say more? Just look at all the poor ratings, and in fact yet another "glitch" from another poor consumer. I'm just quoting one of many complaints about your company listed on this other site.

I placed an online order with Adorama Camera but it was cancelled a couple of days later (late Oct, 2014). They claimed that the price listed was a system glitch. They decided not to honor their listed prices and that was it. Will I order anything from this place again?? No way!!! A good business will always honor their listed prices regardless of the reasons.
