Use the volume control on the Apple Watch. But what if you're socially nervous and would rather change the volume discreetly?
Bigotry?
Toward who?
And I DARE you to say "Canadians" being that you don't know me or where I'm from, who I'm related to and where they're from... I'm just pointing out the facts. I literally know and LOVE [specific] Canadians.
Got mine delivered today in the U.K. I'm very impressed. They stay in even with me *unnaturally* shaking my head up down left right - so day to day *normal* movements they seem very unlikely to fall out. I'm very happy.
Super easy setup and can use 1 at a time which is perfect to leave on one all the time and have the other ear free. When you take one out it auto pauses and re-starts when you put it in. The battery charger case is also cool. This is innovative.
I've been using Bose sports Bluetooth before these and they are a good fit with the unique rubber fitting Bose have but you still have the wire from one bud to the other that invariably gets snagged on a collar when you turn your head side to side - and so slowly loosens the fitting constantly. Very annoying.
So far - first impressions - the AirPods seems brilliant.
Update - double tap the ear piece to activate Siri and say increase / decrease volume![]()
Look at all the Apple lemmings....waiting in line for a crappy pair of earbuds....UGH.
This is classic Apple: Under-promise, over-deliver, all with touch of tech 'magic'.
I was just thinking the same thing. WowHonestly, I love Apple as much as anyone on this board, but I'm a bit mystified by all the hype surrounding this product. What am I missing?![]()
I'm using them now. You can control the volume. Siri. Thus far I've just used my phone because it's been in my pocket, but if it wasn't, I've used Siri to do it and it's perfect. Siri understands me better with these inside a noisy mall than in the quiet of my house on my phone or watch. The few reviews I have read said the opposite.
It's fun. It's like a hobby. Shopping has replaced religion and a lot of other things where I live. No big deal, it's everywhere you look.
How about they try getting more "regular shipments" out to the "regular online orders already in"?
Unfortunately, then there'd be a huge backlash from the public - privacy concerns, those who don't have credit cards, etc. And what do you do if someone is simply buying the item as a gift and doesn't have an Apple ID? I understand your point and would love to stop the scalpers in their tracks as I'm sure Apple or anyone else would like to as well. There's no simple solution.Tie the purchases to an Apple ID & Credit Card
There are definitely ways to introduce some amount of friction to the scalping process.
Great to hear you're loving them...
That said - Weren't they "promised" a while ago?
Not sure how they "under promised" here...
those who don't have credit cards, etc.
The AirPods delivered 2 days early from what Apple promised. That's literally under promising and over delivering.
Can you pay with cash @ the Apple Store?
(honest question - I've never seen it)
