I actually agree with something you said! Cheers!
Hahaha... thanks! I suspect a fair few will be Christmas presents though which to be fair it isn't a bad gift, if they suite your ears. They have nice integration with iOS.

My headphones were constantly tangled, which is one frustration I am glad not to have anymore along with my cats constantly chewing up the cords. I
Can you pay with cash @ the Apple Store?
(honest question - I've never seen it)
Then it's not for you then.

Of all the FUD, this is the one that I find most ridiculous. Losing one earbud? What are you doing that you won't notice something fall out of your ear or that you can't pick it back up?This is madness. Imagine losing just one of your earbuds. Apple has created a new problem here.
Easy tiger - I was just pointing out that Apple originally said the AirPods would ship way way earlier (like months). That was all I meant by "The goalpost moved".
You're right...the delayed EarPods did finally come up for order and they gave you a ship date and slightly beat that estimate.
I'd appreciate if you don't insinuate that I'm "bottom of the barrel of humanity"
Can we try to be kind?
I was not being rude.
hilarious that people line up to throw $150 away when you can right now buy a better pair of bluetooth headphones for $15 on amazon
That is a good question. I've never seen it myself either. I've always used debit/credit cards. I'd have to believe they accept cash. Who wouldn't? Anyone else know the answer? Can you pay with cash @ the Apple Store?

Honestly, I love Apple as much as anyone on this board, but I'm a bit mystified by all the hype surrounding this product. What am I missing?![]()

My Airpods literally over-delivered by 2 days.
Have a nice day.

good lord don't people have to work?
love the logic.
airpods value < day off from work
Can we pair two sets of Airpods to one device?
they have volume control but only by voice, tap on it to activate siri and tell to lower or increase volume
I think you have to take the reviews with a grain of salt. And consider the source. Unless there is an overwhelming majority complaining about the mic quality, I'd be skeptical of the few. As with anything, there's always those who will love it and those who don't. I purchased the Airpods and will give them a try, if they don't meet my expectations, then I'll return them. I had previously purchased the Bose Soundsport BT headphones and didn't care for them and they went back. And this was of course after digging through the reviews.Just read two reviews saying the microphone is garbage.
Hasn't Apple figured this out yet?
It's why Siri sucks and Alexa is amazing. It's all in the quality of the mic.
I use my Earpods for phone calls all the time because they actually use a decent mic.
With the garbage mic, airpods went from a must have to a won't buy for me.
Sigh. I was just about to order them.
So much jealousy and butthurt trolling in this thread, it's painful.
We asked the manager and he didn't have a clue.

Ive started to see this as a reply more and more on this board. Starting to feel like when you try to argue with a science denier and they tell you "that's just what I believe"

You're making the perfect science denial argument-- conflating fact with opinion. Arguing against science is arguing against the best currently available facts about objective things while the people you quoted are all clearly saying that differences of opinion exist about subjective things.Ive started to see this as a reply more and more on this board. Same reason a macbook pro can't be compared to a $299 that runs microsoft word equal or better
