]Apple to me was not about Luxury until the last few years. They were always pricey and that is coming from a 22 year Apple user. When I paid more for my Apple computers, I understood what I was paying for - great hardware and software. That is not case now, with all the software bugs, mistakes etc. These days, Apple purposely jack up their prices to bolster their profits and other companies have followed this example.
If that is luxury, then I do not care that I do not understand the luxury concept. I couldn’t care less about my image. To me, Apple were about ease of use and security.
The constant gimping on features (cameras and tech like FaceID I understand), but RAM and a lesser screen in 2018? Not really no.
I will agree by saying yes I do not understand
your definition of Apple as a luxury brand, but I do understand Apple’s bottom line.
Enjoy your new tech.[/QUOTE]
but value is objective. Something expensive to me or someone else might not be to someone else.
I haven’t had any bugs with my iPhone 7 Plus that I’ve had almost 2 years.

To me. Luxury is perceived just as value is objective. Something may be considered more pricey or of a luxury brand to someone who may see it differently.
I haven’t had any bugs with my iPhone 7 Plus I’ve had for almost 2 years. Only issue is sometimes screen orientation gets stuck in landscape when I want it full screen. Quick double tap home button fixes it.
The camera on the x is excellent. I’ve seen it for myself. I’m sure there will be software and or hardware updates.
You should know that Apple has never been a spec chaser. They don’t throw extra specs to try to sell. iOS ease of use with security and software updates is what keeps customers loyal to Apple. No one knows for sure what these phones will have for features and specs and what they will be named until Wednesday.
