I LOVE THIS DESIGN.
I hope this time , EVERYBODY else will not copy this design
Trolling too much ?
Anyway, this design is already copied by Huawei...last year.

The camera house is weird. It doesn't look like an Apple design.
At this point I think it's fair to say things have solidified around this design so 99% this is what we're getting in September... I hope the Camera performance is worth it for that huge carbuncle of a bump on the back!
I don’t care about the camera. But no USB-C = no buy. Your move, Apple.
That’s great and all but the camera is in the upper right corner. When I put the phone in my left hand and thumb on the volume button... the camera is covered by my first two fingers.
Also, why would anyone design for people holding a phone in their left hand va holding a phone in their right hand, which is much more common around the world?
Yup, that's why I skipped the iPhone 7 and then ultimately went to an s8, then note 8, now s10+ . Makes iPhones look like well, dated
Great question taking in consideration that:
The estimated percentage of left handed people across the globe is 8-15%, with most figures studies suggesting it is 10-12%.
Taking the average of 11%, this would mean that 836,000,000 people are left handed across the globe, out of a population of 7.6 billion.
Yeah they already did "copy Apple's design" since last year.As if Androids will not copy Apple design.
Most are, pure and simple and you could use this argument for left handed people as well so I don't see it's point. And not all right-handed people are try righters: I hold hockey stick, bat, and tennis racket as a lefty.
Can someone remind me why Apple decided to use Lightning rather than going with standards? Is it truly a self money motivated decision?
Yeah they already did "copy Apple's design" since last year.
These Android copycats sure are fast.

How do you think apple makes money? By shaking their money tree?
No it's not. The Lightning connector in iphones is capable of USB 2.0 performance for example.Apple worked hard as hell to move that connective hardware to the outside of iPhones and into the Lightning cable: they are notoriously obsessive about the foreign components included on iPhone's logic board. Plus, like it or not, lightning is technically a more advanced and more flexible connector that reduces the internal complexity of iPhone. I'd say that is the biggest hold up here.
Considering the iPad Pro required additional chips (e.g. the PI3DPX1205A) on the logic board to support USB-C video out, I'd say you'll be holding your breath for quite awhile waiting for iPhone to get USB-C.
I much prefer lightening. It’s a more compact and more robust connector. I’d rather have them remove the physical port altogether, and support faster wireless charge (15W).I don’t care about the camera. But no USB-C = no buy. Your move, Apple.

Yes it is, the wast majority of people are right handed and take picture with their right hand. The point is/was holding the phone is a preference per person. Camera location in either side is not determined by populace right/left handed.
I doesn't look like a copy at all.Why not the p20 copied the iPhone X/Xs camera last year and the p30 continued this year.

The iPhone X/Xs camera design is more elegant in comparison.
Yes it is, the wast majority of people are right handed and take picture with their right hand.
Far more left handed people adapt to use their right hand as often as possible than the right handed people doing the same thing.

I doesn't look like a copy at all.
Not to mention P30 Pros camera which is also quite different

You are quite funny.
Yep. Stupidest recurring commentEvery year people say this and it turns out the leaks have been right all along.
Two vertical lenses in a pill shaped bump yeah what was I thinking.
Yup much more elegant.
one step forward 3 steps back only with apple. because they know as long as they put the logo on the phone the sheep will always buy
But no USB-C = no buy.
No sale means someone else will get your next iPhone. Your move, Aaron!I don’t care about the camera. But no USB-C = no buy. Your move, Apple.
Well thank you for showing one more time how Huawei's implementation is different. You didn't have to.
In what way? I don't see how a picture with Apple's big camera hump supports in any way your claim.
Nope, still like my iPhone 8 very much. Played around with iPhone X and XS at Apple store and did not like it. Always decided to wait for the next generation, that hopefully would have a better design. As it looks by now, this will be the same procedure with the upcoming XI.The phone simply works as if it didn’t even have a passcode. Your passwords are instantly loaded. Touch ID requires an extra step that, believe me, starts to bother once you get used to the feeling of freedoms of Face ID.
Quick question, do you use a phone with Face ID, by any chance?!
A copy is a copy.
Must be a reason Huawei’s cfo was caught with an iPhone, an iPad, and a MacBook, Might be standard issue enterprise equipment for c level executives at Huawei.
I see everything just fine, I'm just amused by you total inability to support your point of view. That’s the thing about elegance and design either you can see it or you can’t.
What copy? Huawei introduced the two vertical lenses in a pill shaped bump in 2016 with the Mate 9.
Although yeah the P20 Pro has three lenses not two like the Mate 9.
I see everything just fine, I'm just amused by you total inability to support your point of view.
How exactly is it much more elegant? I bet you can't produce a reasonable examination.
Mate 9 looked nothing like the iPhone X, Never said it did.
Well thank you for proving my point. Again. If you can’t see why the iPhone XS is more elegant than the p20 or p30, words wont make much difference.
Because people who have the new iPad Pro has to carry 2 different cables thanks to stupid lightning. And USB-C has broader compatibility (MacBooks, Nintendo switch...etc)Can I ask why? What exactly are you getting by iPhone switching to USB-C?
You specifically said: two vertical lenses in a pill shaped bump
That's exactly what the Mate 9 had when it was launched.
Well thank you for proving my point. Again.
Like I've said, you are incapable of supporting your claim.
Mate 9 looked nothing like the iPhone X, Never said it did.

But the p20 is a copy of the iPhone X and a poor one at that. But your having trouble seeing that as well, not very surprised.

Couldn’t they at least copy the fact the the iPhone x doesn’t have a bottom bezel. Poor copy none the less.
If you can’t see why the iPhone XS is more elegant than the p20 or p30, words wont make much difference.
