Assuming these pictures are taken at the manufacturing factory, it is very likely these people are under strict supervision and don't have the time to focus and find ideal lighting, and are probably using cheap camera phones to snap these shots when the opportunity arises.
I work at Disney World, where it is strictly forbidden to photograph any of the backstage/cast member-only areas, and there have been times where I've photographed some interesting things (ie: Cinderella smoking a cigarette, one of the girls who play Mickey Mouse with no head on) and a blurry picture is all I've gotten away with because I have to worry about all the cameras, management, and even the snitches. I'm pretty sure these photo leakers are aware that a high quality photo fetches a bigger paycheck.
